I had Innovative Air come out to give a quote to replace the cooling coil in our air handler, which they originally had installed. I was told the coil was likely under warranty, which had to be confirmed, and I'd only have to pay for labor. Ten days later I received the news that the coil was not under warranty, and the new quote included the very expensive coil. On my own I called the manufacturer and was told that in fact the coil was under warranty, as long as it was diagnosed and installed by a certified company, as Innovative Air was. When I approached Innovative Air about this, I was given an apology, and told it was an error on their part. Needless to say, I went with another company.

Yes sir. Absolutely correct. Happy to provide you with the correspondence from Ferguson, the vendor that sells your product line, denying your claim. Not familiar as to why our advisor would apologize for the error as he was not involved in communicating with the vendor or the manufacturer. I verified the communication with our office and Ferguson regarding your coil, and it was indeed denied. It’s in our best interest to cover your coil under warranty, especially since we installed it for you originally. The situation has been elevated with Ferguson and the manufacturer despite you moving on to another company. Your new coil now comes with a very limited warranty, but because of the vendor's error, we would have been able to get you a 10 year extension. Clearly you made a decision to move on and rate us otherwise without working together, and I apologize for that. Wish things ended up differently, Thanks for the feedback.
