Super happy with the work Independent Contractor Inc did when we needed trenching to upgraded our underground PG&E electrical service in SF. Alberto and his team was prompt, knowledgeable, and communicated well through out the whole process. I would highly recommend and use them again. I could have went with an PG&E trenching crew however they were backed up for months. Alberto knew the process with PG&E and even pointed out a few things in the pre-construction meeting that was very helpful. He was there for all the inspections and very professional.

They did a great job digging out my front yard at a very reasonable rate. I called them Thursday and they were out the next Tuesday. They didn't break any of the sprinkler lines or pipes. I have dug a lot of dirt out of my yard over the past year and I really wish I found them sooner.

Alberto's crew did a great job, carefully, quickly and at a very fair price, and offered me an earlier slot when they had an opening. The job was the demolition and removal of a concrete patio in the backyard. It's only accessible though 4-ft gates but they had a tiny, specialized excavator with a jackhammer attachment capable of squeezing though with no trouble. The operator was skilled and cut up concrete surrounded on all sides (and underneath!) by sprinkler piping with zero damage. They also had a dumpster and a full crew, and everything was over and done by lunchtime. They cleaned carefully before leaving. just excellent service. Licensed and insured too!

I can't give Alberto and his crew enough credit for a job well done, great prices, and super great to work with. I called for a quote to demo a bunch of concrete and asphalt for a new patio project (DIY). Alberto gave me several options for pricing depending on how much or little I would do myself. We ultimately hired him to do the majority of the removal and hauling away, and even bringing back base rock for the patio. They came in and removed everything quickly and effectively. I asked if they had recommendations for compacting the rock and Alberto said he and his crew could come back a few days later (after I built a French drain) to compact. Sure enough they came back, evened out the rock and compacted it well. Alberto even gave me some tips for my paver installation (he used to install pavers). Overall very happy with the whole experience.

Alberto and his crew just demo'd our concrete jungle of a backyard. We want a renewed softer yard and they came in less than a day and a half and demo'd and removed all materials. The crew was efficient, professional, and the area and house respected. We have a house remodel coming up soon so will look to IC for trench and excavation work sub work.

Independent Contractor, Inc., just finished the complete demolition, removal, and backfill of our 40,000 gallon pool and surrounding concrete decking. My husband noticed the company working in a neighbors yard, and asked them about our project. The owner, Alberto, came right over and we received a proposal in a couple of days. We were extremely pleased with their work. Alberto is very professional, and the crew are highly skilled and efficient, yet friendly. They use high quality equipment, and take pride in their work. His team responded to my questions and provided a very reasonable quote really quickly, and then came to complete the work a few days later. They flawlessly executed the work I had requested, but then also suggested a few additional ways to make things look better, and helped to clean up the site above and beyond what I was expecting. Needed to demo about 1000 sq ft of concrete. These guys were way more affordable than my other quotes. They came in, knocked it out and hauled all the concrete away in 1 1/2 days. They made sure they cleaned up and reinstalled my side gate that they took down to bring in equipment. Make sure you contact these guys if you need work done. Awesome job
