I won this hunt through their monthly drawing and took a buddy of mine with me. We were welcomed with open arms and it was awesome. Second day Honeyhole is the way to go. Got 500lbs of pork. I highly recommend going here for your first hunt 100%! /

This was my FIRST time hog hunting. Ranch Boss texted me the directions to enter the property and MATT met me and took me on my FIRST hog hunt. MATT WAS GREAT. He answered all my questions and helped with everything.. I harvested 3 hogs and had the time of my life. Customer Service - MATT & RANCH BOSS was OUTSTANDING ! Ranch Boss even answered a question via text at 6 AM!!! INDEPENDENCE RANCH is awesome. Animals everywhere and very beautiful! Thanks for your hospitality and I will be back! P.S. Many of my friends want to come, so we are going to schedule a group hunt in the near future! AWESOME experience!

Hogs abound! The staff was friendly and willing to talk with you about anything. Food was great and the meat you take home is better! ( 4 months later) : Brought my little brother out for his first hunt and it went fantastic! Staff ensured we were taken care of and helped him get a couple pigs!

Had a great time out here the crew is real hospitable when we were having a tough time with the weather they made accommodations to make sure that we filled our limit we had 7 people for a bachelor party and they had everything ready Paul was awesome and the hogs are huge

As someone who’s hunted all his life, The Independence Ranch is is by far the best ranch in south central Texas, it is a great place to get away and hang out with close friends, having both affordable local game, such as hog hunting, and once in a life time exotic hunts, such as black bucks and water buffalo. This is truly a place every hunter should go.&

My group flew out here from Vegas for a Bachelor party and had an absolute blast! All 7 of us stayed in the “Ponderosa”. There was an unbelievable amount of shooting opportunities and plenty of blinds to hunt. My group got 13 out of 14 hogs allowed for our package. 10/10 recommend and 100% chance that i will return. $$
