very unprofessionell company I booked a ticket with Impala Shuttle and had to cancel 4 weeks in advance. Their own policy clearly says cancellations up to 72 hours before should be fine, but instead of handling it professionally, they replied in a very rude manner and refused to give me a refund. This is not the way a reliable travel company should treat its customers. Travelers deserve respect and clear communication, especially when policies are written in black and white. I want to warn others: don’t expect fair treatment or basic courtesy if you have to change your plans with this company.

I had an exceptional experience using Impala Shuttle to go from Arusha to Nairobi. I reached out to them over WhatsApp (+255 743 666 663) and they always replied promptly to any questions that I had - I was even able to reserve seats over WhatsApp. I would highly recommend this as an affordable option to travel between Arusha and Nairobi. Upon our arrival in the morning for departure, a friendly woman greeted us, who spoke English very well, and took our cash payment. The driver of the bus also spoke English really well. Our bags were loaded up and we were off. The bus was clean and relatively comfortable for someone my height. There were several planned bathroom stops along the way, or if you really couldn’t hold it, the driver would be able to pull over at the next convenient rest stop. My only minor complaint is that the bus felt quite hot - there were air outlets above the seats that either didn’t work or weren’t switched on. It was bearable, but for such a long road trip, it was a bit stuffy. I suppose we could have opened our window, though we opted to keep the blind closed to block the sun. The border crossing was quite smooth - they asked for our passports, visas, and a yellow fever certificate. Visas needed to be printed (reason unknown in 2023) but there was a paid printing station available. There was also a currency exchanger.
