The first time I tried Japanese breakfast and I absolutely loved it. We also tried the donburi, salmon and salt onigiri, yuzu fizz, and daifuku mochi. Everything feels very homemade, nutritious, and delicious. The highlight for me is the rice - they use premium Japanese rice, delicious!
We were here on Saturday, arrived at 12pm and the cafe was full but we were the first in the queue. I asked if they put down names and number of party (they did not) but then a staff came out and asked for it. Not long, 10 mins or so, we had our table. I think we were lucky - because when we left an hour after, there was a long queue outside!
The cafe is small with only 5 or 6 tables, they don’t have time limit of how long we can stay and we don’t have to order in one go (so we can keep adding items). While I appreciate this, perhaps considering the long queue outside, some rules can be applied? Some people just linger on their table when they’re done with their food.
The staffs are very nice and accommodating - explaining the menu and giving recommendations. Just come in early or avoid weekends if you can :)

Thank you very much for visiting and the review. Glad to hear that you enjoyed the products we offer.
We would like to take your suggestions on board. As it gets overwhelmingly busy often on Saturday, we would like to implement some sort of rules in the near future. Much appreciated your honest opinions.
