I joined the online 6-month Diploma Course in Fashion Designing and Boutique Management with IIFT, and it has been a truly rewarding experience.
Initially, I had many doubts—whether an online course would suit me, whether I could understand the concepts clearly, and what the syllabus would be like. But even before I enrolled, the staff patiently explained everything and cleared all my hesitations. That guidance gave me the confidence to take the first step and join the May 2025 batch.
From then till now, I’ve enjoyed every part of the learning journey. I would like to especially appreciate the faculty members—they are incredibly kind, patient, and dedicated. No matter how many times we ask questions, even the simplest ones, they never hesitate to explain again with the same enthusiasm and clarity. Their approach to teaching makes learning so much more comfortable and encouraging.
Thanks to their support, I now feel confident in doing fashion illustration—something I never imagined before. The institute also offers one-day workshops, which are very practical and useful.

My daughter joined IIFT Bangalore for a fashion designing course after she finished her B.Sc in Fashion Design. She was very interested to learn more and improve her skills. I am happy to say that the college helped her in every way.
The teachers were very nice. They were kind, friendly, and explained everything in a simple way. My daughter always spoke happily about her classes.
They had interactive sessions, workshops, research work, fun programs,and market surveys. It was very useful and gave her good practical knowledge.

I had the opportunity to pursue my fashion designing course at IIFT Bangalore, and looking back, it was truly one of the most valuable and memorable phases of my life. The college provided a strong foundation not just in design education but also in building confidence, creativity, and industry awareness.
The teaching at IIFT Bangalore was exceptional. The faculty were highly experienced and had a deep understanding of both the technical and creative aspects of fashion. They explained every concept with clarity and ensured we were learning both theory and practical skills. I always felt encouraged to explore new ideas and push my creative boundaries.

Firstly there is no proper schedule made nor followed. The branch Manger expects student to take "2nd semester" preparatory, after writing "1st semester preparatory" even before writing "1st semester finals" if you don't she abuses the student. The Indranagar branch manager is a disaster, she shouts and yells at students creating a ruckus. The teaching environment should be calm and healthy but here it's gonna be your worst nightmare. Initially during the admission she is sweet and nice but there is another face you don't know,very rude and terrible behavior. No timetable followed, no schedule given etc. In the beginning there were 19/20 students now its just 6/7 due to above reasons many students have left the college. If possible I don't want to even give 1star rating. she thinks she owns the student and the college tries to humiliate and abuses the student. If you want to lose your hard earned money and put your mental health at stake right place to go. I never had such a awful experience in my entire student life...Hope God heals whatever trauma she is going through...

I never said I am not interested in the course to anybody in the institute I still fail to understand who made such assumptions. And if you respect a students investment you should REFUND THE FEES by deducting the teaching fees you can still REFUND the university fees and management should address the student which they never did.
1.No calls where made to the student from management side and branch manager abused the student at evening 4:30 by taking complete advantage as no other students where present, they also never escalated the issue to parents just branch manager throwing tantrums
2.Branch manager also mentioned that she is fed up with the entire batch of students & showed the frustration of others on 1student
3.Even with 25yrs of experience they failed to provide any timetable for classes,failed to understand the practice of preparatory is to prepare for finals.
4.1&2sem preparatory exams are supposed to be completed and then you give "1&2 sem finals"
5.Even with so many years of experience they recruit branch manager who abuses & throws tantrums at student.
6.Kindly nurture the staff with proper counseling and provide good morals and ethics to her, the students have already gone through a lot for her insensitive and rude behavior
7.If the institute has really provided as said so many students would not have left even after spending their money. They left because they were put through so many things since 1st sem. Like pressure of exams scheduled early,as the institute changed their affiliated university the pressure was on students, rushing of classes to complete portions,then submission of records with no proper time provided for creativity and personal learning. Also to remind you that students had approached the principal and branch manager regarding;
No timetable is given/what subjects are thought and on what days/When to bring what materials/Time to complete tasks,nothing was addressed
8.They said In the beginning everything will be thought from start in drawing subjects but they teach nothing as said
9.They complain that students attendance is not consistent but when it is; they just focus on completing portions and tell the students to complete work at home & rush for the next concept & No individual learning
10.During 1st sem SUB:FABRIC STUDIES was not thought at all by the teacher but as she was resigning there was high pressure on students to complete her record with no proper time provided. During those situations many students mental health and physical health was at stake.(A student even got panic attack,students did not sleep,eat on time)After so many students crying,being abused then the issue was solved.
25yrs of Experience & still failed their students?
Though the name sounds high standards are so low.
Lastly it's sugar coated words,there is another dark story behind.Hope they are alert before any other student suffers & stop all the terrible things & recruit a new manager with stable mind.
