Honestly, I do not think staffs are needed anymore here when you have resident leaders doing all the work instead. Annnnnd I instantly knew why people are unwilling to help each other nowadays when that wxxxxn staff shouted at me when she’s done basically nothing and could’ve helped your resident leader by actually doing sth.

Been here about 2 months and ngl it’s been pretty disappointing :/ Rent is way too high for what you get. There are cheaper places with basically the same rooms. The atmosphere isn’t great either. It feels super cliquey. People stick to their own groups. Staff were the worst part tho. They tried to charge me an extra fee out of nowhere and when I asked for an explanation, they acted like I was being difficult. I wasn’t even arguing, just trying to understand. After that, I feel like they started treating me differently. Which honestly made living here kinda uncomfortable. Posting this under another name because I don’t want more awkwardness. Wish I knew all this before signing for the whole year :/

Iglu Chatswood is a fantastic place to live, with a super convenient location close to transport, shops, and plenty of food options. The building is modern, clean, and well-maintained, and the rooms are comfortable and practical. The staff are friendly and helpful, and there’s a great sense of community with regular events and shared spaces. Overall, it’s a comfortable and enjoyable living experience.

Love the place, it’s all ways tidy and clean. Faculties are nice and well equipped. With great and friendly staff service. Only downside is bit on the pricey side of things. But overall, so far so good.

I lived here for one semester and it’s a very great experience. All the facilities in the apartment are new. The staff here are very responsible and friendly. Interesting events are held regularly and can make friends with other friendly students in the apartment. Very nice experience!

Terrible accommodation experience: 1. My roommate left in a dirty and messy room, but the management failed to conduct a proper inspection or supervision and arbitrarily charged extra fees. 2. They maliciously charged a cleaning fee of AU$198 without any prior notice. Absolutely outrageous!

Iglu South Yarra has been such a joy to stay at! I’ve made so many wonderful friends at the varied and events that happen at Iglu making my uni experience so much better. The staff are always so kind and warm to everyone. The accomodation is well put together and nice to live in and well worth the price. South yarra Iglu would be a great place to live for anyone coming to uni in Melbourne.
