MIRO!! Highly Recommended! If you’re considering a tour with Miro, book it—you won’t regret it. This was my first trip to Iceland, and one of the absolute highlights of my 10-day stay was my tour with Miro. He is incredibly knowledgeable, keeps a close eye on the weather and aurora forecasts, and knows exactly where to be and when. Before the tour, he confidently told me there was a high chance of seeing the Northern Lights, and thankfully I listened. Not only did we see them, but it ended up being the best Northern Lights experience of my entire trip. Miro is also an exceptional driver. Iceland’s conditions can be unpredictable, but I felt completely safe and comfortable throughout the journey. As a bonus, he drives an awesome Defender called “Powder,” which made the whole adventure even more memorable. What really sets Miro apart is his personality. He’s fun, easygoing, and genuinely enjoyable to spend time with. On top of that, he’s an incredibly talented photographer. He took some amazing photos of us under the Northern Lights—pictures that I’ll treasure forever. Miro combines local knowledge, professionalism, photography skills, and a great sense of humor into one unforgettable experience. I would highly recommend joining one of his tours. It was easily one of the best experiences of my trip to Iceland.

AWESOME EXPERIENCE My husband and I booked Icelandic Roamers because we wanted a private professional northern light experience and they surpassed our wildest expectations. They were knowledgeable, friendly, funny, and extremely patient. He was so knowledgeable about not only the aurora but honest about the experience. He knew Soo much about Iceland that we gained a wealth of knowledge. We didn’t see the aurora the first time which was predicted by him but we wanted to try then two days later he called and said it may be possible and he was right we saw the aurora in all of her beauty. We cannot recommend him enough if you’re going to chase the northern lights they are definitely the best company to go with. We wish you all the success in chasing the northern lights

A must get tour from ICELANDIC ROAMERS I feel lucky I found Icelandic Roamers last minute. They responded fast, which helped me secure a private tour despite the short notice. Our night started with doubt for an hour. The sky was covered with clouds, and I thought we would miss it. But Micahl did not stop. He drove us about 45 minutes north, chasing clear skies. Then it happened. The lights appeared, dancing above us. It felt surreal. One of those moments you never forget.

Golden circle tour Even with the snowstorm, I felt safe the whole time. They use a 4x4 SUV, and Mical handled the conditions with confidence and skill. We also witnessed the raw beauty of Iceland’s landscape, including areas with geothermal activity and mountain eruptions, which made the experience even more unforgettable. He also brought us to a unique restaurant, far from the usual tourist spots. The whole trip felt personal and well planned.

South coast tour This was just as memorable. Mical took us to hidden waterfalls, places not crowded with tourists. Those small details made a big difference and made the whole trip feel exclusive. He also shared useful tips, from which lagoons to visit to insights about Iceland that you won’t easily find online. Also, prepare your outfits. They take great photos. You get a guide, a private car and a photographer all in one. Hard to ask for more from a tour. Overall, the experience was worth every penny. You can’t put a price on moments like this.

Incredible adventure! 10/10! This is my second trip to Iceland and having booked 2 tours with Miro in the past, knew that his tours would absolutely be worth it. Miro has such a warm, kind, playful soul that makes it easy to spend 12+ hours with him - it just flies by! He took my friend and I through amazing sights on the Snæfellness Peninsula tour. I love his passion, respect and love for Iceland and nature. He came prepared with everything we needed for a comfortable and fun experience (ex: crampons for the ice, gear, good music and vibes). Our tour was well paced with stunning nature walks and scenic stops we expected and ones we would never have found on our own. We rode his Land Rover, Powder, which made for a fun rugged yet still comfy ride! He’s a talented photographer and we came home with many breathtaking photos to remember our trip. The most carefree and well run tour. 10/10 and would wholeheartedly recommend Icelandic Roamers! Thank you very much for another incredible adventure, Miro! 🙏😁🌊🦭🏔️🌋🙌🏼

Iceland’s Northern Lights Perfect Experience! Amazing experience with Miro! He brought all the gear and Icelandic experience to make our Northern Lights evening magical. He had a laser light to show us where the lights were emerging, setting up the photography equipment to be ready for every possible moment, including a picture of the two of us with the northern lights above us. It was a freezing and very windy night so he made sure we stayed warm in the car to wait for just the right moments to see the beautiful green lights. My husband‘s glove blew out of the car and across the road into a field. In the pitched dark, Miro actually found the glove with his headlamp and other flashlight. He was prepared for everything even hot chocolate - it was a welcome added touch to a perfect evening! We came to Iceland for the northern lights and felt blessed that we were able to see them on the first night and have Miro make it all possible with wonderful photographs to share and bring home. Thank you Miro!

Amazing experience, incredible photos. 10/10 We had an incredible night. The lights were fantastic and our guide did an amazing job finding the right spots to see them and getting excellent photos. He was also great at teaching us how to photograph the lights on our own cameras. It was all just perfect. Would highly recommend to anyone thinking of seeing the northern lights in Iceland, and if it's a special occasion (anniversary, engagement, etc.) you can trust Icelandic Roamers to get it right!

Unforgettable Northern Lights Experience with Miro My wife and I booked a private Northern Lights tour with **Icelandic Roamers** during our honeymoon in Iceland, and our guide **Miro** made it one of the most special experiences of our entire trip — honestly, one of the most meaningful bucket-list moments of our lives. ✨ From the moment we met him, Miro was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and easy to talk to. Spending the evening together felt less like a tour and more like exploring Iceland with a knowledgeable friend who genuinely loves his country. His passion for Iceland’s nature, history, and language was contagious, and we learned so much throughout the night. What really stood out was how much effort he put into helping us understand the science behind the Northern Lights. He explained how the aurora forms, how to interpret forecasts, and even how we could try to find them ourselves on other nights. It made the experience feel deeper and more meaningful than simply chasing lights in the sky. Miro also curated the experience around what we wanted from the night. Since this was our honeymoon and we had booked a private tour, he made sure the pace and stops fit exactly what we were hoping for. We always felt completely safe with him driving through the winter conditions, and it was clear he knew the terrain and weather patterns extremely well. One thing that impressed us tremendously was his persistence. He truly goes the extra mile to find clear skies and aurora activity. Icelandic experience We had an amazing private South Coast tour experience! It was just my girlfriend and I, and our guide made the entire day feel personal and relaxed. He was kind, patient, and never rushed us at any of the stops. One of the best parts was that he also took photos of us at every location and gave great direction so we could get some really beautiful shots together. It felt like having a tour guide and photographer in one! He also gave great advice about what was worth visiting and what we could skip, and he was a very safe and comfortable driver. Overall, an incredible experience. Highly recommend!

Amazing Iceland trip Miro was an outstanding tour guide. We traveled with our family and a group of friends, and he made the entire experience unforgettable. AMAZING Tour - 10/10 Recommendation We had the most fantastic experience with Icelandic Roamers and cannot recommend them highly enough. We did two tours — a Northern Lights (Aurora Borealis) tour and a 14-hour South Coast tour from Reykjavik — both guided by Michal, who was our guide, photographer, and driver. Michal was truly amazing. He is incredibly knowledgeable about Iceland, friendly, easy to talk to, and made everything feel seamless from start to finish. Even though the South Coast tour was 14 hours long, it genuinely didn’t feel like it — we had so much fun the entire day. We played our own music, stopped for lots of snacks and Icelandic hot dogs, and enjoyed every moment. Some of our favorite highlights included stunning photos at Skógafoss, the breathtaking Glacier Lagoon (Jökulsárlón), and Diamond Beach — which was honestly one of the most spectacular views we’ve ever seen. Even Reynisfjara’s black sand beach, despite some erosion, was absolutely worth the stop and still incredibly beautiful. Planning was effortless thanks to Miro, who was extremely responsive, clear, and thoughtful in his recommendations. For our South Coast tour, we were able to choose four stops, and he gave great insight into which ones would be most worthwhile alongside the ones we had already selected. The photography turnaround time was unbelievably fast, and we were even surprised with a beautiful video from our two days — such a special touch. These are truly memories we’ll cherish for a lifetime. The vehicles (jeep and van) were immaculate and comfortable, and overall the experience felt personal, smooth, and thoughtfully curated. We would 100% recommend Miro and Michal — not just as tour guides and photographers, but as the friendliest faces to explore Iceland with. If you’re considering a private tour in Iceland, book with Icelandic Roamers. You won’t regret it!
