My experience at IAR has been truly amazing. Cam is exceptionally skilled in all aspects of physical therapy—from understanding the body’s muscular system to treating soft tissue and guiding strength and training work. He’s also incredibly personable and a joy to work with. I’m grateful to have found IAR, and I highly recommend them.
I can’t say enough good things about my experience with Institute of Athlete Regeneration Sports Medicine (IAR). When I first started physical therapy, I was struggling not just with pain and limited movement because of the surgery that I underwent, but also with the mental side of recovery. As a high level athlete whose career took a wild turn detour: I was feeling frustrated, discouraged, and unsure if I’d ever get back to where I was before my injury.
IAR didn’t just treat my injury, they treated me as a whole person. They listened, encouraged me, and pushed me just enough to keep growing without ever making me feel defeated.
I met with Dr. Cameron when I was just starting to walk normally again. He made me believe as though every session felt like progress, not just in strength and mobility, but in confidence and mindset too. When i was petrified to run for the first time Dr. Cameron ran right beside me without hesitation.
Thanks to IAR and Dr. Cameron’s patience, knowledge, and genuine care, I’ve come so far both physically and mentally. I actually look forward to physical therapy now because it reminds me how capable I really am. I’m beyond grateful for the support I’ve received here and would recommend IAR to anyone who wants a team of physical therapists who truly care about your journey and your well being.
One and a half years ago (and 6 weeks before my son’s out-of-state wedding), a calf tear sent me scrambling to find a great sports rehab facility. I had the good fortune to discover IAR on-line. Thanks to Dr. Toko and Dr Sarah, I was able to dance at my son’s wedding. Subsequently, I returned to IAR multiple times for S-I joint and lumbar issue therapies. Dry needling, manual therapy and strength training were all employed to great effect by Dr. Cameron. Cam is accessible, skilled, supportive of therapy goals, impactful with results and ‘gently’ pushes me to train at higher (but safe) levels. I highly recommend IAR and all the doctors.

One of the clinics hardest workers! You continue to impress us each week. Keep working hard. We are happy to have you as part of the IAR family!
I have had intense shoulder pain and neck issues since a car crash 3 years ago. I have worked with countless PTs and Bodyworker with little success. Working with Cameron I have improved immensely in just a few months. He is knowledgeable, positive, and extremely supportive. He has given me the guidance I needed and gone above to make the experience of getting healthy enjoyable and something I look forward to.

Thank you for trusting IAR with your healing journey. Your thoughtful attention to detail and consistency have helped you be successful! We are proud of all your hard work and excited to see you back running and competing in cross country this season 💪🏼🏃🏽♀️
TLDR: This is the best PT I have found so far by a long shot, and absolutely deserves the 5-star reviews and the hype. Worth the drive!
I have been very impressed with the quality of care that I have received at IAR with Dr. Sarah Wechter, and I already came in with pretty high expectations! She really understands the body's biomechanics and will take the time to sit with you, answer all your questions, thoughtfully listen to you and make sure you can meet your goals. I remember during our first appointment she showed me the anatomy diagrams and was very thorough with the initial assessment. This is the kind of physical therapy that everyone will benefit from if they consistently put in the work, because they really train functionally at the elite level, and will push you past what you thought was possible.
I worked with Dr. Sarah on my knee pain and shoulder pain becauseI had accumulated a lot of minor injuries over the years that kept me from pushing myself in the activities that I loved to do, out of fear of injury. It turned out that I just needed to patiently, strategically, and consistently retrain my biomechanics and strengthen weak areas and muscular imbalances. When I started running for the first time in my life without knee pain, I could barely believe it! With Sarah, she pays very careful attention to you while doing the exercises, makes sure you are increasing the weight (when ready) and really checks whether you are activating the right muscles, which has been a total game changer for me.
Note that appointments are either 30 minutes or 60 minutes, and some insurances may not reimburse you. This is integral to their model and a huge reason why they are so different from traditional PT offices. The appointments at IAR are have much longer dedicated 1:1 time, allow you to address multiple issues at once if needed, use a variety of the latest and greatest methods, and will help you go above the baseline of being pain-free, to performing at the highest level possible. Huge thanks to the IAR team!

Sarah and the team are highly skilled, they’ve been working with me over the last few months on a few chronic injuries that I’ve had from the past few years that I’ve neglected. I’m seeing some great improvements which with past therapists I hadn’t had any luck. They listen to how you are week to week and a just according. They give great attention during the exercises they give you and are a fun team of people to help heal and get better with. Can’t thank them enough!

Cameron has been a great help sorting out some range-of-motion issues, and has been both friendly and knowledgeable and supportive as I've been getting back into exercise. He's done a great job focusing on not just fixing initial discomfort, but planning and helping me build the foundations to get back to top form.
These folks are great!

IAR is a fantastic sports medicine clinic. I’ve been going here for the last two and a half months and they have helped greatly with my bicep injury. Dr. Sarah and the team are super supportive and friendly, but more importantly, they all genuinely care for the success of their patients. Their approach to rehabilitation is great and they have given me the tools and confidence to continue my rehab journey. I would highly recommend this clinic especially if you are dealing with sports related injuries!

I do not write reviews often. For those who want the short version: I very, very highly recommend that you reach out and make an appointment with Dr. Sarah Wechter. She listens carefully, has an amazing ability to quickly get to the root cause of a problem, and she knows what to do to help.
I have seen many specialists over the years for various injuries and for the first time in about 12 years, now that I am seeing Dr. Sarah, I am finally seeing results. I have various issues that have accumulated over time, which I just thought I was going to have to live with, but with the care I am getting now after a recent sports-related injury, other areas of pain and immobility are clearing up too. I am an older female and decided at the beginning of this year that I would try a running program. About 7 or 8 weeks in, after a Sunday morning run/jog where I was so happy to do 5 kilometers, I suddenly started having some pretty serious lower back pain when getting up out of a chair or turning over in bed. It took me a few weeks to figure out that the problem was not going to get better with rest and stretching, so I looked up Dr. Sarah. It turns out that my glutes were really weak, which was causing all kinds of other problems. I am making progress now and am amazed at how much stronger I am getting. Dr. Sarah has been patient and encouraging, and I really look forward to my sessions with her. The sessions are mix of manual therapy and then exercises and strength training. I feel comfortable asking any question that pops into my head and am taken seriously and given a helpful response. One of the things that is so different with Dr. Sarah, and so key to my progress, I think, is that she has been able to see where I am and what I can and cannot do and design a program that I can succeed with. That includes both not giving me exercises that are beyond my ability and also challenging me to trust that I can work harder than I had thought. As an added bonus, I used to ride my bike a lot but had stopped due to lower back and hip pain after workouts and not really being able to get comfortable on the bike anymore. The work we are doing now has extended to helping with these other aches and pains, including shoulder and neck pain I have been having, and I am excited to get back into cycling and start running again – this time with guidance. I recommend Dr. Sarah very highly and am so grateful to have finally found someone who really knows what they are doing as well as being kind, patient and fun to work with.

I am grateful for the expertise I received from Dr. Sarah and the IAR team. I came in for IT Band syndrome, three weeks prior to an upcoming triathlon. Dry needling, manual therapy, strength training, and adjustments to my running gait were effective in allowing me to complete the race successfully. Thank you for your evidence based approach and personalized care!

We appreciate your feedback Stephen! Your patience and follow through was unmatched. We are happy to have you as part of the family and are always here to help any family and friends!
I can't say enough great things about IAR! I came in struggling with tennis elbow that was making everyday tasks, and especially my softball games, especially painful. From my very first visit, the staff was incredibly welcoming, professional, and knowledgeable.
Sarah took the time to assess my condition thoroughly and created a personalized treatment plan that included targeted exercises, manual therapy, and pain management techniques. Each session was well-structured, and I saw consistent improvement in my mobility and strength. Sarah also gave me excellent advice on how to prevent future injuries and exercises to continue at home.
After just a few weeks, my pain significantly decreased, and my quality of life greatly improved. If you're dealing with tennis elbow or any other injury, I highly recommend IAR—they truly care about their patients and their recovery!
