2025 Rifle Elk hunt- My family and I had a wonderful experience and hunt. Zane was my father’s, brother’s, and my guide and I can’t say enough great things about him. He is truly a great human being and hunter/guide. He went out of his way to make sure we had a great experience. Zane was extremely excited to see our successes. He also has a beautiful family that we had the pleasure to meet. Zander guided my cousin and nephew, and my brother and I plugged in a day apiece. He was a lot of fun and a great hunter/guide as well. He has a passion for hunting and the outdoors. I’m assuming there are times when Dena doesn’t smile, but I never saw it. She is a gracious hostess, wonderful cook, and great person as well. She handled most of our booking and tags and did a wonderful job. Randy was extremely accommodating and professional. Once we arrived, he quickly became a friend to us all. Just a genuinely good man of faith. He is the best outfitter I have been with. I highly recommend RSO for the overall experience and hunt. What a beautiful property and place.

I hunted spring bear with Rising Son Outfitters May 2025. It was my first time using an outfitter for 4 legged big game. Terrific experience. Professional. Compassionate. Knowledgeable. The entire family was committed to me having the best experience possible. Food, lodging and hunting were above and beyond. A truly great outfitter. I am headed back in 2026.

Rising Son Outfitters is one of the best run operations I've ever had the chance to visit. The Petrich family are the nicest people and Zane/Zander, perhaps the most expert guides I've ever worked with. They handled every detail perfectly. There are not enough superlatives to describe their property and the experience itself. If you ever get the chance to visit, I would strongly urge you to take it...you will not be disappointed!

Highly recommend!! Any one of the scenery, hunting experience, or facilities would have been enough to warrant a five star rating, yet the people were the best part. The Petrich family made the experience unforgettable. They were so knowledgeable and hospitable, and they were committed to providing the best experience possible.

My two sons, brother and I just completed a wonderful week of hunting with Rising Son Outfitters. I am 100% satisfied with this Christian based family, their wonderful accommodations, beautiful wildlife and attitude about God’s miraculous creation they enjoy every day. Some of the nicest people you could ever meet. From the minute you arrive you feel right at home. Randy and Zane waste no time when it comes to hunting, they both had me on animals at first light. Dena prepares breakfast , lunch, and dinner so if your hungry that's your own doing, always plenty to eat. Comfortable sleeping quarters with a hot shower to boot. Rising Son Outfitters I highly recommend and I am looking forward to another hunting year with them.

What a great experience I had while hunting with Rising Son Outfitters! Randy, Dena and their sons are outstanding people and could not have worked any harder at making my Montana Elk hunt any more enjoyable .Their land is full of trophy animals and when they say they normally place their clients within 30 yards they mean it! (My shot was 18 yards) I can't recommend them enought!

I have been hunting with Rising Son Outfitters over a dozen times since 2002 . I have harvested many nice bulls with both my rifle and my bow. This is the place to go if you truly experience a real western elk hunt, you will not be disappointed.
