We have 2 golden retrievers from Hunnington Farms. Our female is 6 years old and our male is just 4 months. We are so blessed to have them; they are beautiful and incredibly sweet! We are from New York. I took my 4 year old daughter down to the farm to pick our new puppy. Leslie and Lindsey were so accommodating and made the whole process just a dream for us. We had an amazing trip and brought back the most adorable little puppy to join our family. I cannot recommend Hunnington Farms enough!

In the last 6 months I’ve traveled from Long Island to Louisiana two times to pick up 2 beautiful golden retrievers from Hunnington Farms. The owners and operators of the property are wonderful, caring people. The facility is beautiful. A great place to purchase a golden retriever or golden doodle!

They’re incredibly responsive, supportive, and genuinely caring, making the entire process easy, even from out of state. Their family-run operation is friendly, honest, and deeply committed to their dogs’ well-being. The pickup location is always spotless and comfortable, and they were kind enough to make an early pickup work for our schedule. Our puppy is the sweetest, smartest little companion—we could immediately tell she came from a home filled with love. This breeder truly deserves to be recognized and praised.

We had such a wonderful experience with this breeder! From the very beginning, they were incredibly involved, responsive, and compassionate, especially with us being out of state. They kept us updated every step of the way with photos, videos, and check-ins, which gave us so much peace of mind. Their location is clean, organized, and easy to get to, and they were so accommodating with early pickup hours to fit our travel schedule. Our puppy is absolutely perfect—sweet, smart, and already such a fast learner. You can tell she was raised with care and love. We couldn’t be more grateful!

Hunnington Farms breeds the best golden doodles in Louisiana i had no problem with purchasing the dog only thing i wish they can do is post more pictures of parents because when my wife picked him up it was raining so we really can’t tell how big he will be just going off the estimate 60-80 lbs

I bought my first 2 dogs, Golden Ret’s, from the Jarrell’s 35 yrs ago. Most intelligent, affectionate dogs you can imagine. Now wanting to get one for our 5 yr, I knew where quality was and returned there from Houston for a mini- Goldendoodle. We kind of have some allergy issues now, hence the Doodle choice. Her farm and breeding stock is even more amazing now! Could have spent all day visiting and petting the beautiful dogs. And with Leslie’s 40+ yrs in breeding, I’m sure the quality is even better no matter what breed you choose. Penny has had a great first week at home with her new family and we look forward to a long, long life with us. She is precious! Thanks Leslie!

We recently purchased an 11 week old Micro Golden Doodle to be company to our Jack Russell. The experience could not have been better. We have had many dogs over the years but never a Labradoodle. Leslie & Ashton were wonderful! They took time & explained the breed to us, answered our questions and showed us Toby’s parents to get an idea how he may look when grown. The day before getting Toby I was torn between 2 puppies. They said go home & think abt it, take your time deciding. I so appreciated this. The next day I just knew which one I wanted. They were so kind & caring to us all the while dealing with Leslie & her husband’s older lab being sick & having to be put down. Highly, Highly recommend Hunnington Farms for your next dog purchase!!! Thx ya’ll!!!

We just brought home our second puppy from Hunnington Farms, and we couldn’t be more thrilled! Their puppies are absolutely amazing—healthy, happy, and so well-socialized. The owner, Mrs. Leslie, is truly wonderful. She’s thoughtful, kind, and clearly cares deeply about every dog and family she works with. From start to finish, the experience has been outstanding both times. We were extremely pleased years ago with our first dog from Hunnington Farms, and we’re just as happy today. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a quality breeder and a loving new addition to their family!

I’m very sorry that you’re devastated. I went to your Facebook page to see that your Bailey passed away recently. Due to testicular cancer from an undescended testicle.
I’d like for you to call so we can discuss your displeasure.
We sell no dogs for breeding, but totally leave the altering to the new owner’s discretion. But it’s also very hard to believe your vet did not encourage you to neuter your Bailey !!

I don’t what I would do without Hunnington Farms. For almost 30 years my family has had their dogs in their homes. I currently have 9 year old Hunnington Farms golden retriever service dog, she’s so gentle, calm, eager to please and learn, she’s a priceless companion. I just added a standard golden doodle to my heart. I will train him to take the helm when my retriever retires. Although he is a new member, he has already carved a niche in the family. He is so calm, beautiful, healthy, and eager to learn his responsibilities. Amazingly, he has already befriended my 21 year old cat along with my service golden. He follows her everywhere, absolutely a joy to watch become a loved family member. I may be partial to HF, but 2 of my neighbors also have HF doodles. May I add, we live south of Tampa and go out of our way because of our trust of Hunnington Farms.

Leslie Jarrell’s pups at Hunnington Farms are wonderful. Over many years, I have had several of her Goldens. She knows her dogs. This is not a puppy mill. All healthy and have been chipped and evaluated. Leslie has placed (suggested) certain pups for my family members and has always gotten it correct. My vet loves her Goldens as well. Highly recommend.
