I would absolutely recommend this studio for the type of photography they do. They defiantly create masterpieces.
Iris was patient and reassuring in what felt like a chaotic 40 minutes with my new rescue dog, and she was understanding about my vestibular disorder.
Be prepared to spend some money! It was a lot more than expected for digital prints, but there was no pressure to upsell.
I was pleased with Jonathan, who was honest and patient in helping me narrow it down to the final selection.

We’re repeat clients of Hudson Wren and our second experience even surpassed our first which was 6 years ago. Iris was our photographer and I will rave about her until I’m blue in the face. She was just incredible - she made everyone feel comfortable and at ease which translates in the photos. You see REAL smiles. Neither my husband or I are keen on getting in front of the camera but Iris captured some of the most beautiful photos of our family. Be prepared to cry when you see your slideshow of images during your ordering date. I’m still crying thinking about them all. Picking the best ones is the hardest part, but they are truly an investment that are worth every penny. Put it this way — if my house was on fire these photos will be coming with me!

Hudson Wren gave my daughter and I such an amazing experience. Our photo shoot was full of laughs and they even let my daughter pick some of the poses she wanted. My mother and I absolutely loved our experience with Hudson Wren from start to finish. Communication was professional, friendly, and clear, and they provided us with all the information we needed to be prepared for the day, including helpful outfit ideas for black-and-white photographs.

I had such a lovely experience with Hudson Wren photographing me and my dog.
The portrait session itself was relaxed and fun, and I really appreciated how much attention went into creating different expressions and moments between us. I had been drawn to Hudson Wren because I love their beautiful black-and-white portrait style, and seeing our own photographs finished in that style was very special.
The Zoom viewing afterward was much more emotional than I expected. Seeing all of the photographs together genuinely brought tears to my eyes. They captured not only how my dog looks, but so many little parts of our relationship and personality that I know I will treasure.
I ended up choosing more photographs than were included in the original collection I had been considering, and I really appreciated that they were able to work with me on a special option that allowed me to include the extra images in both the album and the digital collection. It made the final package feel much more complete and personal.
It is certainly an investment, but for me the finished collection is something much more meaningful than simply having a set of photographs. I’m really looking forward to having the book, the wall portrait, and these memories to keep for years to come.

From start to finish, our experience was incredibly professional. HW captured photos of my family at a pivotal time in our lives and I couldn’t be more excited to receive the final products. I received a phone call letting me know that I had been selected for their giveaway photo session with Dog Parents. At first, I honestly thought it might be a scam, so I did some research before going. I was pleasantly surprised to find that Hudson Wren Portrait Studio is a legitimate photography studio, and when we arrived, the place was clean, beautiful, and professional.
From the very beginning, the experience was wonderful. One of their reception staff members, Alex, kept in touch with me and provided plenty of reminders about our photo session. They were also very accommodating with my schedule and requests, which I really appreciated.
When we arrived for our session, Iris, the photographer took the time to ask what we liked and made sure we felt comfortable. They were very professional, patient, and especially good at capturing beautiful photos of ourselves and our pet. We ended up with so many wonderful pictures!
After the photo session, they scheduled another appointment for us to review and choose our photos and claim our rewards. This was honestly the hardest part because there were so many beautiful pictures to choose from! Lauren were very accommodating during the selection process, and even though we went a little over our scheduled time, they allowed us to continue and reconnect Zoom call to finish our final order.
I also really appreciated that they offer an installment payment plan. They explained that the finished portraits and frames are museum-quality, and they will be delivered directly to our home. I can't wait to receive them and display our family portraits in our home!
Overall, it was a wonderful and memorable experience. I originally thought the giveaway call might be a scam, but I'm so glad I gave them a chance.
