Dr. Sato is the best!! I got a breast reduction and she did such a good job and is even better at following up! I had 3 post op appointments and got to talk to her personally so she can answer any questions and she also gave me her number to text anytime and she usually replies within minutes!! I received a tummy tuck and lipid with Dr.Sato and I am over the moon with my results. She was very thorough leading up to my surgery and after, so I knew what to expect at every stage and she was always a text or call away if I had a question. Currently I am in Week 5 of my recovery journey from a procedure with Dr. Erika Sato. I have received nothing but full support, encouragement, expertise, and professionalism during my entire experienceāfrom my first interface with her Patient Care Coordinator Adrian; to the pre-op/procedural/post-op medical team; to the front-desk staff; and of course, from āstart to finishā with Dr. Sato herself.
I had already paid consultation fees with other surgeons, but the second I sat down with double-board certified Dr. Sato, I knew she was the right surgeon for me (so I was totally confident in cancelling with other equally well-known surgeons in Houston). Dr. Satoās bedside manner shines with professionalism, critical-and-creative thinking, warmth, honesty, and in my opinion, exceptionally high patient care with a strong focus on safety. Plastic surgeryāor any surgery for that matterācan be intimate and vulnerable for any patient. It was important for me to feel comfortable with the surgeon I chose for my procedure. Dr. Sato gave me motivation, assurance and realistic expectations based on my lifestyle, body type, and age. Honestly, even though I am in Week 5āand 12 weeks is considered the early part of a āfull recoveryā timeline for my procedureāI am BEYOND thrilled with my results so far. My goal was to have ānoticeably naturalā results and Dr. Sato more than delivered on that goal. Her aesthetic eye and surgical know-how are uncannyāI had an image in my head on how I āwantedā to look and Dr. Sato surpassed my image (in a really good way!).
At the same time, I also feel it is my responsibility as a patient to protect my investment and ensure good outcomes (itās a partnership with your surgeon, after all). During my pre-op visit with Nurse Florella, I asked a lot of questions and I was given a pre-op master packet to review, which I read three times before my surgery! I knew this procedure was going to be a financial, physical, and psychological investment. My adherence to aftercare and post-op recommendations are just as important as the procedure itself, so Iāve done my best to follow all pre-op and post-op rules AND attend all follow-up appointments with Dr. Sato.
Communications with Dr. Satoās team was seamless. Adrian was on top of everything as far as all non-medical logistics I needed help with. After my procedure, the medical assistants and nurses were always accessible during business hours with my clinical questions through a special, medical-messaging interface (secure) called Klara. More impressively, Dr. Sato gave me her personal cell phone number after my procedure so that I could contact her with any pressing concerns outside of business hours. How many surgeons in this world would dare to give you their personal number? I would wager probably not many.

Three pregnancies and years of the weight gain/loss/gain roller coaster had really taken a toll on my body. I had a lot of excess skin that needed to be removed. I consulted with a surgeon near my house and didnāt feel comfortable with them. I then consulted with Dr. Sato and knew she was the right choice for me. I immediately knew I was in competent hands and that she would make every effort to not only make my body beautiful, but keep me safe while doing so. I had a circumferential tummy tuck/lower body lift with fleur de lis, lipo and monsplasty. The surgery center staff was all very nice and I felt well cared for. Her medical assistant Savannah is very sweet. Her coordinator Adrian handled my calls and emails like a champ and felt like a friend. Dr. Sato sees all of her patients postop herself so that she can stay on top of your recovery, which I really appreciate. Many surgeons defer their postop visits to their nurse but she does it all. I went to Dr Sato for a mommy makeover after having 5 kids and suffering from severe diastatis recti. I couldnāt be happier with my decision. Dr. Sato was referred to me by a family member and after months of going through her websites, socials, and before and afters, I decided to book a consultation. At our consultation I voiced wanting to do a labiaplasty and bbl. As other reviews mention, Dr. Sato sets clear and realistic expectations, considerations, and suggestions. Labiaplasty 8 months post-op:
Based on my anatomy and lifestyle, Dr. Sato decided the wedge method would align best with my vision. My procedure was done under local anesthetic and lasted just under an hour and a half in a room with a tv and remote in hand for a comfortable, low-stress experience. I was on modified bedrest for a couple of weeks and was cleared to workout after 6 weeks. Iām now fully healed and iām so happy with my results.
BBL 4 months post-op:
For my BBL, I got lipo 360, chin lipo, and arm lipo. Iām 5ā2 135lbs and was given realistic expectations. On the day of surgery, I arrived, changed into my gown, went over medical history, and Dr. Sato came in and marked me up and in I went into the operating room. First week post-op was the hardest especially because I had drains but by following post-op instructions for garments and lymphatic massages, salt/water intake, i had both removed a little past 1 week. Throughout my follow up appointments Dr. Sato kept a close eye on my incisions, bruising, swelling, and overall progress to ensure great results. Iām particularly happy with my silhouette change, volume retained in my butt, and the ongoing checkups.
Had my consultation today and Dr. Sato was incredibly nice, professional and knowledgeable. I will be going forward with my procedure and keep yāall posted.
Update: I had my first procedure a couple weeks ago and I am enjoying the results, I am getting my 2nd derma pen in a couple weeks.
I had an abdominoplasty with liposuction done last November by Dr Sato. She was highly recommended by a friend who is a Dr and also a patient of Dr Sato. I didn't have to think twice because my friend's body was a testament to how amazing Dr Sato's hands are. I felt really comfortable talking to her. She and her staff took their time to explain the whole procedure and aftercare plan. Right from when I walked into the office, I felt extremely comfortable. Dr Sato is very passionate about her work.
