Highly recommend Dr. Sato and her incredible team!
As a newer practice to the area, they are setting the absolute gold standard for patient care.
From my very first consultation in January, I knew I was in the right hands. Devenie, the patient coordinator, walked me through every single line item of expected charges so there were no surprises, and she was incredibly warm and reassuring with all of my questions.
I had Lipo 360 with Quantum RF and a BBL in March, and while the recovery is really intense, the support from this medical staff made all the difference. During my toughest and most vulnerable post-op moments, nurses/MAs Kyla and Morgan were endlessly patient, supportive, and kind while helping me into my compression garments. Dr. Sato is meticulously involved in the healing process and takes the time to explain the importance of every step, and Maria has been absolutely wonderful for lymphatic massages.
Even at three months post-op, they are still providing excellent follow-up care. To top it off, front desk staff Emma and Arianna always greet me by name, and their patient app offers a loyalty points system for skincare and procedures. It has been a phenomenal experience navigating a challenging recovery, and I am so grateful to the entire team!
Dr.Sato and her team have made the biggest difference in my journey to feeling at home in my body. Dr.Sato took her time to explain every single process, validated every worry I had and encouraged me if I ever felt scared or worried, I always had the power to say no and reminded me that was okay. I never felt pressured by her or staff to do something I didn’t want. In fact, I felt the complete opposite. Kayla, Morgan, Maria, Devenie and Dr.Sato celebrated how far I was in recovery, always talked about what I had been up to, and took such a genuine interest in me. I wasn’t a dollar sign to them and I am forever grateful I found a team who sees me as a person and wants to help work towards my goals. 🩷
I have had two different surgeries with Dr. Sato, but I am not happy with the results. I really wish I picked a different surgeon. The breast lift with implants job she did is so bad that her photographer asked me if I was going to get implants when she was about to take post-surgery photos of me. For someone who brags so much about being the best surgeon in the practice, she did a very poor job on both surgeries I had with her. She is also very rude when asked questions after surgery. She makes you feel like you’re stupid. She is very unprofessional and immature. Beware ladies and go with a professional and competent surgeon instead!
I’ve been seeing Dr. Sato for facial balancing/ Botox and she is AWESOME! Very honest and
knowledgeable. I also purchased products from her skin gallery and I’m already seeing great results just after two weeks! Super excited to see my skin goals come to fruition under her care! I’ve definitely found my new home! :)

We’re so glad you had a positive experience with Dr. Erika Sato, Andrea. This is the Hendrick Health Patient Relations team. Thank you for taking the time to let us know.
I had such a good experience with Dr. Sato. She is very thorough and careful and my body handled the fat transfer procedure really well. She is big on informed consent and gave me realistic expectations, and I'm so pleased with my results. The recovery and downtime went smoothly for me because of her care and instructions. Dr. Sato is a talented surgeon and genuinely a good human, you will be in good hands with her 🤍
Dr. Sato is amazing! She and all of her staff are so kind. She never rushed my appointments & always listened to all of my questions or concerns. She performed a breast implant explant, lift, extended tummy tuck and lipo on me. I am 6 weeks post op and loving my results! I am so thankful I found her. She will forever be my surgeon if I ever need any other work.
Dr. Sato is truly exceptional. She has a calm, confident presence that immediately puts you at ease, and she takes the time to really listen. What sets Dr. Sato apart is not just her surgical skill — which is unmatched — but also her GENUINE care for her patients.
She was incredibly thorough in explaining the procedure, the recovery process, and what to realistically expect. I never felt rushed or pressured. Her attention to detail and commitment to natural, beautiful results really shows in her work.
I’m beyond thrilled with my outcome — it’s everything I hoped for and more. Dr. Sato has given me a renewed sense of confidence, and I’ll always be grateful for her expertise and kindness. I wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone looking for a surgeon who is not only talented, but truly cares about her patients.
I received a tummy tuck and lipid with Dr.Sato and I am over the moon with my results. She was very thorough leading up to my surgery and after, so I knew what to expect at every stage and she was always a text or call away if I had a question. My biggest fear going into the surgery was pain management immediately after and her team made sure my pain was at a comfortable level before they sent me home. I’m two months post op and Dr.Sato is just as responsive as she was in the beginning. I also appreciate seeing her at all of my post op visits and not just her staff. I can tell she takes a lot of pride in her work. 10/10 I recommend for any mom that wants to get their body back!
Currently I am in Week 5 of my recovery journey from a procedure with Dr. Erika Sato. I have received nothing but full support, encouragement, expertise, and professionalism during my entire experience—from my first interface with her Patient Care Coordinator Adrian; to the pre-op/procedural/post-op medical team; to the front-desk staff; and of course, from ’start to finish’ with Dr. Sato herself.
I had already paid consultation fees with other surgeons, but the second I sat down with double-board certified Dr. Sato, I knew she was the right surgeon for me (so I was totally confident in cancelling with other equally well-known surgeons in Houston). Dr. Sato’s bedside manner shines with professionalism, critical-and-creative thinking, warmth, honesty, and in my opinion, exceptionally high patient care with a strong focus on safety. Plastic surgery—or any surgery for that matter—can be intimate and vulnerable for any patient. It was important for me to feel comfortable with the surgeon I chose for my procedure. Needless to say, I felt VERY comfortable with Dr. Sato as my surgeon.
She even mentioned evidence-based research to respond to my concerns and questions about my surgery. I also appreciated Dr. Sato’s photo gallery of patients’ befores and afters on her website—these real patient photos even included a few clinical notes (this was way more valuable to me than plastic surgery photos that are often retouched/enhanced and then hyped up by social media).
Dr. Sato gave me motivation, assurance and realistic expectations based on my lifestyle, body type, and age. Honestly, even though I am in Week 5—and 12 weeks is considered the early part of a ‘full recovery’ timeline for my procedure—I am BEYOND thrilled with my results so far. My goal was to have ‘noticeably natural’ results and Dr. Sato more than delivered on that goal. Her aesthetic eye and surgical know-how are uncanny—I had an image in my head on how I ‘wanted’ to look and Dr. Sato surpassed my image (in a really good way!).
At the same time, I also feel it is my responsibility as a patient to protect my investment and ensure good outcomes (it’s a partnership with your surgeon, after all). During my pre-op visit with Nurse Florella, I asked a lot of questions and I was given a pre-op master packet to review, which I read three times before my surgery! I knew this procedure was going to be a financial, physical, and psychological investment. My adherence to aftercare and post-op recommendations are just as important as the procedure itself, so I’ve done my best to follow all pre-op and post-op rules AND attend all follow-up appointments with Dr. Sato.
Communications with Dr. Sato’s team was seamless. Adrian was on top of everything as far as all non-medical logistics I needed help with. After my procedure, the medical assistants and nurses were always accessible during business hours with my clinical questions through a special, medical-messaging interface (secure) called Klara. More impressively, Dr. Sato gave me her personal cell phone number after my procedure so that I could contact her with any pressing concerns outside of business hours. How many surgeons in this world would dare to give you their personal number? I would wager probably not many.
Thank you, Dr. Sato (and Team Sato) for your professionalism, support, and amazing outcomes!
