The hotel has all the conditions to provide a pleasant stay, but for a 4-star hotel, it left much to be desired. This was unfortunately my experience. Only a few employees are nice, like a girl at the breakfast entrance, the girls in the section on the ninth floor, and some at reception, and little else. My experience started with an unpleasant surprise when I was informed that my stay did not include breakfast, something I chose and selected on Booking.com. So, I warn everyone to be very careful with the lack of communication between Booking.com and the hotel. Another unpleasant surprise was realizing the absurd price the hotel charges for each breakfast, more expensive than the price declared on Booking.com (R$14), information hidden at the bottom of a pile of information. I paid €16 for breakfast only to realize that many things were missing: scrambled eggs were still raw, and bacon was very undercooked. They didn't have regular bread, only sunflower or seeded bread. The coffee is bad, but that must be because I live in a country with excellent coffee. A disappointment. Twice, while at reception, I clearly felt prejudiced against me by a new girl who didn't know me well and reacted with unpleasant repulsion. A third unpleasant aspect is the inability to adjust the air conditioning temperature, which is centrally set. If you're feeling hot, you won't be able to get it cold if the hotel's central setting isn't set to cold. The windows only open in a tilting fashion, which doesn't allow much fresh air into the room, affecting sleep. The rooms are clean, as are the bathrooms, but the shower is impossible to shower without getting the bathroom wet; the showerhead is painful to use at maximum pressure, largely due to the type of showerhead. The cleaning staff are very friendly and tidy. The hotel offers a welcome drink, but they don't ask what you like; they give you what they want. They gave me a sparkling wine that I didn't like at all, and at the bar, three girls who don't speak English didn't understand when I tried to ask to change the drink for something simpler that I liked, and communication was impossible. There are supermarkets and bus stops nearby; it's well located, and the Skyline has beautiful views. The tram stop is 200 meters away, giving us easy access to public transport to the city center. The city is very pleasant, beautiful to visit, and has everything you need. The rooms have old furniture and carpets that really need renovation. The television has poor sound and there are no English-language channels. I wish I could give the hotel a better rating, but it's not possible. I give the city a nine, but the hotel a four. They can and easily improve.
