Disappointing experience – poor customer service and lack of professionalism
I engaged this agency for a part-time helper across multiple pre-booked slots. Due to a change in our schedule, we had to cancel just one slot—with a rough 40 hours' notice. Instead of working with us on a reasonable solution, the agency immediately and unilaterally cancelled ALL upcoming slots with no discussion and no alternative options offered.
We were initially impressed by how quickly this agency responded before our first scheduled session. Yes, their response time was fast — but does that really justify how they handled things afterward?
This response was completely disproportionate and showed a total lack of regard for customer service or long-term relationships. Even if a deposit had been forfeited for the cancelled slot, we would have accepted that. But to wipe out all remaining sessions, without even attempting to find a solution, is both unprofessional and unacceptable.
It seems they use their “speed” as a selling point, but speed without reliability, flexibility, or basic customer care means nothing. Fast replies are great — but what matters more is how a company treats you when plans need to shift. And this agency failed that test completely.
When clients make an effort to inform in advance and work respectfully, the least an agency can do is meet them halfway. The rigid and punitive approach taken here shows they are more interested in control than in client satisfaction.
Would not recommend if you're looking for a service provider who values communication, flexibility, or repeat business.

Recently found Honest Recruiter via MOM website to find a replacement helper. Eric was the one who assisted me from start. He was very responsive & helpful right from the start. Manage to found a suitable MDW and helper has been with me close to 2 weeks and it has never been so relax for me. I leave all housework and planning of meals to helper as she proves that she's able to do it well. Her cleaning and cooking is good which is what I'm looking for and that was why Eric highly recommended her to me when I first stated communicating with Honest Recruiter.
