Lovely and quaint setting. Pascal met us there and was very accommodating. He gave us maps and restaurant recommendations. He even went out of his way to show me where to park and was nice enough to give me a ride back to the house. Lovely little place; might not be great for elderly people - lots of steep steps and uneven floor surfaces, but this is obviously understandable as the house is centuries old!
De Hoedenmaker was the best accomodation of our entire trip and Pascal is an outstanding host. The house is very family friendly, some toys for the kids to play, safety gates on the stairs, and crib and high-chair. Lots of tourist info and books to read. Easy walk to everything for sightseeing. Quiet location. Pascal welcomed us and gave us recommendations for things to see, places to eat, playground for the kids. Overall a fantastic experience. Highly recommended.
Pascal and Greet were so kind and accommodating. They walked us through everything Brugge has to offer and answered all our questions. The house was fantastic and exactly as described. We have had lots of great Airbnb hosts over the years, but Pascal and Greet were the best. I highly recommend their location if you want a walkable house in Brugge.
Lovely place and Pascal was equally lovely, we love Brugge and we plan on coming back again as we try to do this time every year. No issues just the usual overall issue on Airbnb, that what we booked and what we got was not exactly the same as we had thought (specifically it did not mention that the third bedroom had to be accesses through the second bedroom). Other than this, all good :)
Pascal’s place was the perfect landing spot for our family. It had all the necessities, a spotless kitchen, beautiful living room, spacious bedrooms, and an outdoor area to have our morning coffee. The location is a stone’s throw away to all that Bruges has to offer- fantastic restaurants and shops, and all the cultural landmarks. There is also a grocery store right around the corner for our last minute needs. To top it off, Pascal was easy to communicate with, gave us great recommendations, and we really appreciated how thoughtful and helpful he was with our late check in. Would stay here again!
Our family of five had a fantastic time at Pascal’s home. Warm, homely and inviting, with Pascal and his wife being brilliantly welcoming. It is ideally located - just north of the main tourist areas so you are only a couple of minutes walk from the action, but also just nicely removed yet still with a number of more local cracking restaurants and shops nearby.
Lovely stay at this property in Brugge. The owner met us and shared some helpful info, and provided some tasty treats. The unit was exceptionally clean. It was very quiet overall - no noise from neighbors, and a very quiet street. (We only heard a couple people walking down the street, and only on Saturday night). We slept very very well. The beds and pillows were very comfortable and my two teens appreciated having their own spaces. Kitchen was well equipped for simple meals, and the washer and dryer worked well and were helpful to have. The neighborhood had a lot of character and it was an easy walk to the city center. The train station was a 25 minute scenic walk. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again. Thank you.
Beautiful and charming house which was very comfortable, warm and clean. Pascal had anticipated all our needs - 2 baby cots in the right rooms and a high chair in the kitchen as well as tea, coffee, some beer and even some chocolates. We also had some baby flannels and placemats.Pascal met us when we arrived at the house and showed us where all the best places were to visit on a map of Bruges. He gave us recommendations for days out and for restaurants including one for the first night, which was amazing. We could not have asked for a more responsive host - all messages were dealt with almost immediately. Thank you Pascal.
