I went to see the hygienist, best service I have ever received in a dental practice
I’m an extremely nervous patient and had difficulty finding somebody who would give me sedation without trying to talk me out of it. I found Hilltop dentistry. At our first meeting there was no discussion as to whether or not I should have sedation , the fact that I’d asked for it and I was medically fit to have it was enough.
The dentist John was gentle and kind and after my first checkup and I had no hesitation in booking an appointment to have the treatment I needed .It is the perfect place for a nervous patient.
As soon as you arrive, Sue, the receptionist welcomes you with a lovely smile and immediately puts you at ease.
John and Sarah Jayne the Partners, both do sedation . Impossible to share the relief I felt finding such a wonderful ,
professional and caring team.

Both my wife and I fully recommend Hilltop Dental Practice where I have been a happy (if that term can be applied to visits to the dentist) and satisfied patient for over fifteen years. My wife a few years less, but she is equally pleased. An extremely professionally run business, but with caring and conscientious staff that establish and understand individual needs.

Good morning all, this dentist practice saved my teeth and smile and a large part of my sanity way back in 2002 when I was running out of dentists to try, I understand you shouldn’t let one poor service experience affect you but it can and does,
The people here have been nothing other then supportive and focused on my requirements and continue to do so, although the team has changed over the years (thankyou Wendy) their new faces and great smiles and enthusiasm makes every visit both calm and pleasant, I’m terribly poor on name retention but from the front desk to the great people around the big chairs I can only thank

Excellent quality dentist. Always very friendly and never rushed. It’s not a cheap NHS practice, however you get what you pay for and this is very good. Recommended, especially if apprehensive of dentists.

This is a lovely dental practice. Staff are polite and helpful. I see Jane who is very caring and explains what she is doing and takes the time to go through her findings. Never have I felt rushed or unwelcome. I appreciate it can be a bit expensive but you pay for what you get and here at HILLTOP DENTAL PRACTICE you get the BEST treatment.

I had a great experience with this dental office. The dentist and hygienist are very detailed in their explanations and make sure you understand everything. They’re very gentle during treatment—I barely felt any pain—and always professional and attentive. The receptionist, Sue, is also very helpful and friendly, which makes the whole visit even more pleasant. Highly recommend!

Crown replacement
I had a crown replacement at Hilltop Dental Practice and the experience was excellent from start to finish. John Caldwell was professional, thorough, and made me feel completely at ease throughout the treatment. All the staff were friendly, caring, and incredibly helpful, which made the whole process smooth and stress-free. The service was outstanding, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this practice.

From the moment you come through the door you are greeted with courtesy and a smile. Everyone is so polite and helpful. No matter what treatment you are having it is carried out with care, attention to detail and being kept informed throughout treatment which is especially comforting for an anxious patient.

This is a very friendly and calm dentists. Sarah Jane is very good at helping neurodivergent children to feel safe. She makes me feel like there’s no need to be scared. The fish in the waiting room are soothing and help me leave all my worries behind.

Supportive and Positive Experience Throughout
We moved to Hilltop Dental after many years of living close by. I had my initial assessment which highlighted several issues that a first thorough examination was bound to show. I've subsequently had 3 fillings replaced and two hygiene appointments. The experience to date has only been positive and supportive from everyone I've come in to contact with from reception to the dentists, nurses and managers. Their helpful 'can do' attitude is a real change and very welcome and when it comes to the treatment in the chair there is care and a feeling they are taking pride in their work to deliver the best outcome.
