Our guests have been absolutely blown away by how beautiful the finished product is, and they constantly comment on the incredible quality of the workmanship. It has truly elevated the experience at our park. The on-site technicians were nothing short of exceptional. They were incredibly helpful, highly knowledgeable, and maintained the utmost professionalism every step of the way. It was instantly obvious that they knew exactly what they were doing. No construction project is without its challenges, but the High Tech Pools team tackled everything head-on. Whenever any issue arose, they worked through it to find a solution—even if it wasn't strictly in their wheelhouse, they always stepped up to guide us to a workable solution. They completed the opening efficiently and were pleasant to speak with throughout the visit. I’m a resident of the Centaur and Hi Tech Pools built the apartment pool. After months of delay, they finally finished it this May, although the design and filter system leaves much to be desired. The apartment had a lot of issues with the system but was able to maintain it this summer - however, it was clear all issues were due to Hi Tech’s inadequacy. The biggest complaint now is, as you can see from the photos, it is November 8 and Hi Tech Pools still hasn’t delivered the cover for the pool. This is entirely their responsibility and the apartment has been waiting patiently for it to be covered. The pool was closed the week after Labor Day and Hi Tech has been sitting on their lazy butts not doing a thing to get this pool winterized. The pool was spotless the week after Labor Day and is now filled to the top with leaves, branches, mildew, and most likely dead rodents lurking beneath the surface. It’s absolutely disgusting and I feel bad for the staff who did such a diligent job keeping the pool spotless throughout the whole summer. The pool will now have to be fully drained and scrubbed clean, which shouldn’t have to happen. These pictures are an accurate representation of the laziness and carelessness of this company. I would never recommend Hi Tech to anyone.

We appreciate you taking the time to share your feedback, and we’d like to clarify a few details regarding the situation with the Centaur pool.

The pool and spa were completed in May, as scheduled, and have been operational throughout the summer. The cover you mentioned was ordered by Centaur after Labor Day, but payment for the cover was not received until October 21st. As noted in our standard policy, we do not place orders for custom covers until payment has been made in full. Once payment was received, the cover was ordered immediately.

Unfortunately, this timeline means the cover could not be delivered and installed prior to the fall leaf season. We understand the frustration this delay has caused and share your concern for maintaining the pool’s condition. However, it’s important to note that the delay was not due to inaction or negligence on our part, but rather the timing of the order and payment.

High-Tech Pools takes pride in the quality of our work and our long-standing relationships with property managers and residents alike. We’re committed to ensuring the Centaur’s pool remains in great condition and will continue to assist the management team as needed.

I spoke to several pool builders/refinishers in NE Ohio. Some were downright rude, perhaps too much success since COVID? High-Tech, from the first call through the entire process has been a DREAM. Terry made the process of choosing the right tile and finish easy. Rich and the install team were fantastic. Great communication. Great finished product. Cannot say enough good things about them.

We just closed our pool after a wonderful summer of fun :( Dustin Sheets did an incredible job servicing our pool each week and keeping our equipment working perfectly. Last week he closed our pool and made sure everything would be worry-free for the winter months. He has been a great resource and we were truly able to enjoy everything this year without issue. Our pool was built in 2020 and opened in 2021. The mechanical systems were manufactured by Pentair as was the automation system. This summer we had High Tech Pools replace our Pentair automation system as it became so buggy due to software and firmware problems that almost nothing worked properly. The new system, Pool Attendant, has worked nearly flawlessly since being installed by Pat in June. Pat has done a terrific job as service manager since taking over the role mid summer and our weekly maintenance team of Alex and Israel have been excellent. They are reliable and responsive to any issues or concerns we have and when they are done each week, the pool and spa both shine. They are by far the best service team we’ve had since the pool was built. Dale and Alan have also done an excellent job getting the pool open in late April and closed in late September. When they are done opening the site, the pool and spa are in “ready to swim” condition and when closing up, they are clean, covered and secure for the winter. Maintenance-wise, 2025 was a great pool season. Thanks for stepping up, High Tech!

Dale Berthold and Allen Meyers of High Tech pools are excellent employees. I had an issue with my pool, they came out and dissected the problem immediately and implemented the work needed to get my pool back in working order. In addition to fixing the issue, they provided great advice on how to manage the pool going forward. I have been with High-Tech Pools for about 5-6 years they are the company that built my pool. However, great employees that provide excellent service like Dale and Allen is the reason that I stay with the company.

I have had a few neighbors who had thier pool installed by this company. I was pretty satisfied with the quality of the pools, clean plumbing at the pump, filter and heater along with the hydraulic pool cover. I figured I would reach out for a consultation to discuss installing a pool in my back yard since they offer gunnite white others offer fiberglass. I so far have left an online inquiry, and two voicemails with zero response.

We used Hi Tech Pools to construct our pool a few years back. They truly stand by their product and workmanship. The service department is very responsive and attentive to needs. Jerry calls us back right away and answers our questions and concerns. Dale Berthold is excellent at what he does at a technician. My wife and I were so impressed with his customer service when he came out for a repair. He goes above and beyond for the customers.
