As someone who had never done acupuncture before, I couldn’t recommend Dr. Kao more. I’ve had a great experience working with her and have benefitted greatly from her care. It’s been a night and day difference for my body in the few months we’ve been working together. Highly recommend!

I tried several acupuncturists before I was lucky enough to meet Heidi Kao. I was in excruciating pain and Dr Kao did wonders in one session. It’s rare to find someone so knowledgeable, gifted and with such good bedside manner. I couldn’t recommend this practice more. If you’re a sensitive individual who is interested in working with a thoughtful healer - this is the place.

Heidi Kao made room to see me right before a big holiday weekend and in one session took the pain from my acute piriformis pain during pregnancy from a 10 to almost nothing. I am so grateful for this practice, Dr Kao's knowledge and this wonderful office. I couldn't recommend more highly.

Dr. Kao is an incredibly skilled healer, and I am forever grateful for the hours I've spent on her table. I don't know how she manages to see exactly what she sees, but she's truly adept at knowing exactly where to apply treatments, and she's managed to help me through a number of symptoms that just weren't getting anywhere with Kaiser, despite their best of intentions! I leave that office feeling energized and back in my body, ready to meet my day from a more level space.
