Definitely the best choice we could have made when selling our St Albans (Sandridge) property. First conversation was on the phone with Luci very pleasant to talk to. This was followed up at the house, where I had a frank conversation with Jon. From the outset, comprehensive explanations were given on what’s to be done in terms of presentation and also the commercial side of things, price choices given market climate and our personal circumstances. We were continually updated throughout the processes including feedback from viewings especially from Will and Luci. We also had updates from Becky and Hugo. I hope I haven’t missed anyone. I feel that they want to ensure the buyer has found the right property for them as well as getting a fair price for the seller and value for the customer at the same time. Heartwood Homes took the time and care when selling my house in St Albans. They listened and were never pushy. I felt supported throughout the selling process which was a new process for me. Will has been exceptional and has always been professional, patient and friendly. He has gone above and beyond to help me when I've needed it and Becs has also been a great support and has taken the time to listen and help with queries. They surprised me by exceeding my expectations and I felt that I could trust them. I have had negative experiences with very pushy and aggressive estate agents in St Albans and Heartwood Homes is an independent agent and this difference is evident throughout the entire process. Jon has always been at hand and I felt comfortable throughout. Jon was available and made the effort to call me after completion to thank me which I appreciated. The card, cupcakes and bubbles on the completion day was a really lovely and thoughtful gesture that really sets them apart. I thoroughly recommend Heartwood Homes and a huge thank you to Will, Becs, Jon and the entire team.

5 stars are not enough for the excellent team of Heartwood Homes. From day one of our first viewing, until after we moved in, Luci especially and the whole team have been supportive, efficient, friendly, knowledgeable, great at communicating promptly, and always willing to take extra time to help out with anything. The team has high standards and we very much appreciate that. They even offered to connect us with professionals around St Albans who could do plumbing, decorating, electricians and so on. Beware! Luci is on a mission to increase the cat population of St Albans, she definitely succeeded with us 😺 definitely recommend signing up to their mailing list if you are considering buying a property in St Albans, and likewise if you consider selling.

We had a sizeable chain so it took some months from first meeting to exchange and finally completion. All through the process someone from his agency kept us informed either by phone or email. We were told of every viewing - as the house was empty - and followed through with completed feedback forms from each viewer so we were never left just wondering. When a firm buyer was found Jon's team secured the best price both sides were happy with and though there were inevitable hiccups along the way each was dealt with promptly and professionally. Heartwood staff were efficient, professional, informative and very nice people shouldering all the strain that goes with selling your home. They give Estate Agents a good reputation. Very happy sellers.
