After a number of very negative experiences with estate agents over the years, we found Heartwood Homes an absolute delight! Their approach is a real breath of fresh air. Luci in particular was outstanding. She was incredibly responsive, caring and hard-working. She truly went the extra mile to get us over the line with our first house purchase. It took a while but we got there in the end. Heartswood were great. Luci in particular who was friendly, knowledgeable, proactive, patient and very efficient.

The team at Heartwood Homes were nothing but professional, helpful and really supportive!
I purchased my first home with them and they were super helpful throughout the process, bending over backwards to help and inform me of any information I needed during my home purchase. Harry has specifically been a star and has been super patient and positive throughout. Not to mention the very kind bottle of bubbly and cupcakes on completion!

Outstanding
I cannot recommend the team at Heartwood Homes enough… they are a massive cut above all other agents , the give away is in their name …. They really do put you as a seller and a buyer at the ‘heart’ of everything they do . It has been extremely tough selling our Mothers beautiful home that she has lived in for more than 45 years. From the moment I met Jon I knew his team were the right people to do this for us. Shout out to Luci and Harry that at all times respected her property with such profession . I have never met a team like them , their understanding their empathy is outstanding. They found us the right buyers and talked us through why and every process when we had other offers , nothing was too much trouble . We cannot thank you all enough in making what could have been a terrible experience for and our Mum a dream come true for her , and also understanding how much selling our family home meant to us and always will.

Super! Was a long haul (mainly down to market conditions + multiple leasehold-related queries) but got there in the end. Recommendation - An Unparalleled Experience with Heartwood Homes Estate Agent
I have bought and sold a total of 12 properties in my time and therefore have worked with several estate agents in my 50 or so years. No other agent has delivered the experience and level of service provided by Jon and the rest of the team at Heartwood Homes throughout our latest sale that we just completed on Friday, I wouldn’t use any other agent in St Albans now. Truly proactive, they understood the complex chain involved in a sale from top to bottom and the dynamics of the personalities involved. They ALWAYS had our best interests at heart throughout, and this was evidenced on several occasions in both their approach and advice. Also, the guidance and insight they provided was key to myself and my partner making the best of decisions throughout this process.
This review is totally unsolicited. However, I feel compelled to ensure as many people as possible see this message and use this company as I am sure your own experience with Heartwood will be on another level to ALL other agents, as it has been for us. Heartwood Homes were recommended to me following the most appalling experience with a well known multi branched High Street agent in St Albans.
Heartwood were totally supportive to make the transition run smoothly and offered an outstanding level of service from the very start.
The big difference for me was that I truly felt we were all in it together; a far cry from my previous experience.
Their marketing was thorough, efficient and honest. After launch, we had the first viewing within hours and seven more in the first 10 days, at which point we secured a buyer. The sale completed within 3 months.
I urge you to meet Jon and the team as it is an opportunity and experience not to be missed!

Highly professional house sale
I had a fantastic experience with Jon and his team at Heartwood Homes during the recent sale of my house which they managed to sell at the full asking price.
Heartwood Homes truly went above and beyond in managing a long chain of buyers and sellers, making the process incredibly smooth and, on the whole, stress-free.
One simple example of standout service was when I asked them to help me dispose of an old sofa; they took care of it seamlessly. They also assisted in storing some pictures for me, very much showing their dedication to their client’s needs.
The garden was also in need of some attention, and Heartwood Homes again took it upon themselves to ensure it was in top shape, removing some unwanted items.
Their professionalism throughout the entire process was remarkable, and I felt confident in their expertise.
The fact that they utilised WhatsApp for communication was a game-changer. It allowed us to stay in the loop at all times, making the selling experience highly efficient.
Heartwood Homes is a top-notch traditional, and yet modern, estate agency, and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to buy or sell a property. They truly go the extra mile for their clients and understand the meaning and value of good old-fashioned service.

What a brilliant estate agents!
We initially didn’t choose Heartwood Homes and decided to go with one of the old face agents of ST Albans. Almost immediately this felt like the wrong move, with little feedback and engagement leading to a disconnect. After moving over to Heartwood homes they delivered brilliantly, selling our house for full asking price within two weeks. What sets them apart is their knowledge of St Albans communities, their work ethic, their honesty and above all their communication, not to mention delivery of course.
Jon and the whole team, thank you so much for helping us.
I highly recommend anybody to seriously consider speaking to Heartwood Homes before considering selling your property in ST Albans.
