I needed some tax advice in a hurry, after I became concerned that a previous adviser might have miscalculated my tax bill. Hawsons Sheffield office - and especially Charlotte Owen and Abigail Bravil - were brilliant in getting to grips with my situation. They communicated clearly, displayed both urgency and empathy, and negotiated with HMRC on my behalf. I have no hesitation in recommending their services.
We moved to Hawsons this year at very short notice. The Northampton office were excellent and carried our out audit seamlessly. David Owens and James Robinson oversaw the audit and were truly professional and available at all times. Cannot fault the service we received.

From the first face to face meeting with our accountant Paul Wormald we were very impressed. We wanted the literature etc to be very clear so we could understand all the legal terminology. Since our initial meeting we have had numerous meetings which have always been professional, relaxed and comfortable. The company has always satisfied our needs and requests. We have now moved on to a new chapter with a partners exit due to retirement, which the company are handling professionally and have been willing to take any call required to put us at ease with our required actions in the takeover.

Having used Hawsons accountants for self assessment tax returns, and filing tax for my late father's company, I can definitely recommend them.
Nothing was too much trouble to explain to me, either by email or phone. They were friendly and professional, making me feel at ease, even if I thought I was asking ridiculous questions.
I received all communication promptly, and they helped me every step of the way, through a difficult time that I was going through.

We handed our accounts over to Hawson with very little time left before filing was required. They took the time to review thoroughly, run us through the details and ensure we understood our position, while still filing on time. I have recently used Hawsons in Sheffield who have dealt with a particularly complicated share buy back tax issue on my behalf. The service and advice I have received from both Stephen Charles and Charlotte Owen has been excellent.
