Knowledgeable guide and comfortable coach
There were some pros and cons for this experience. Pros: Brandon was very kind and knowledgeable. He wanted to make sure we were enjoying the experience. We learned a lot about the Hawaiian culture, history and plants. The coach was very nice and comfortable. Cons: There are very few places to actually stop and enjoy the beauty. This is not a reflection on Hawaiian Style, it was due to the road and not having scenic turnoffs. This is due to the road being so narrow. The lunch was disappointing, it was lukewarm. Brandon was a fountain of information, but it would have been nice to have some time to have breaks in between all the information he was providing.

Absolutely PERFECT Road to Haha tour!
This was by far one of the most wonderful tours I have experienced anywhere. On our first trip to Hawaii, our travel planner booked the Road to Nana tour with this company. Kevin provided hours of expert knowledge as we journeyed from one magical area to another, allowing us numerous stops for photo ops (he is a talented photographer eager to make sure each special moment is captured) and he also made sure that our group interacted as only a family does. It was a perfect day in every way, and we enjoyed a complete tour, not simply going to Haha and turning around to return the same way. Highly recommend this family owned company for your tour, and if you are lucky enough to meet Kevin or any of their guides, your experience will be unmatched by any other. Don't call anyone else! Their vehicles are the best, too!

Amazing Tour of the Road to Hana
When we were in Maui in October, we stayed at The Ritz Carlton Hotel on the west side of Maui we asked the Hotel Concierge to book us a Road to Hana tour. She booked us with Hawaiian Style Tours. Doug the owner picked us up in a black town car and drove us the 30 minutes or so to meet the tour bus. As he was driving, he gave us some very interesting information about the island and the people. The bus was a small 10-seater with large windows, so views were great and the seats were very comfortable. There were only 6 of us on the tour that day. The tour unlike many other tours went the reverse road to Hana. This meant we got to drive around the entire island and when we hit the sites we were not there when most other tours were, so it was not at all crowded. Our Tour guide was Brandon, and he talked the entire trip pointing out everything we passed from views to all the goats and the Chickens and their history plus types of trees and flowers. He had a light Breakfast for us that included some of eth Banana Bread that Hawaii is famous for and it was delicious. He was never boring just provided interesting facts as we drove through the 11 Ecosystems on the Island from the dry side that only gets 10 inches of rain a year to the rainforest that gets about400 inches per year. We stopped at the Black Sand beach and a few waterfalls along the way all of which had great photo ops and we never felt rushed. Lunch was provided and we enjoyed teh Sandwiches snack Chips and Flavored sodas when we stopped at Auntie Virginias farm. She also designs and makes jewelry, so my wife bought some earrings and necklaces for the kids back home.We also stopped at The Halfway to Hana Fruit and Ice cream stand for a snack. We bought some ice cream that was delicious and 8 Loaves of Banana Bread to bring home. Unfortunately, when we got home and cut the Banana bread it was not even close to the slice Brandon had given us at Breakfast. It was very dry, and I think it was just over cooked as it was also way darker that our Breakfast Slice, so I recommend if you buy some to try it before you leave the Fruit stand to ensure its quality. The tour continued and all eth sites were very picture worthy. When we ended the tour around 4pm Brandon took us to meet another Black town car driven by Kevin to drive us back to our hotel. Kevin was also very talkative and informative as he also runs the tour bus on some days.Overall, this was an amazing day and well worth paying someone to drive us instead of me driving even though we had a rental car. I highly recommend Hawaiian Style tours as they are a local small family run business owned by Locals who grew up right there on Maui.
Amazing tour with loads of Hawaiian history and culture. We felt like VIPs all day. Doug and Brandon were wonderful local hosts. This was one of the most enjoyable tours we’ve ever taken. Beautiful views, local flavor, plenty of time to enjoy each stop. Highly recommend! Mahalo, Doug and Brandon.

Exceptional day on the Road to Hana!
We've done many tours in our travels and this is at the top of the list. Doug and his staff are extremely knowledgeable locals who shared incredible details about Hawaiian history and culture. We felt like VIPs with access to unique locations, incredible views and plenty of time to enjoy each stop. It's all the little details that made this one of our best days on Maui. We visited Maui and had the concierge at our hotel set up tours. Glad they set us up with this company. We were picked up from our hotel on time. The vehicle was comfortable and the group was small. Brandon and Jenelle were wonderful guides. Lots of history. Sometimes overwhelming but great historical information. We were able to visit many places that truly would have been a hassle for us to coordinate. The stops were in places we loved and we did not feel rushed. A light breakfast of the most delicious banana bread was served. Lunch consisted of fresh fish, brown rice and sweet potato macaroni salad (which was yummy). Windy roads made me car sickAnd they had ginger melts and wonderful motion sickness wrist bands that truly helped calm my stomach. Book this experience. It was wonderful!

I was Blessed to be a part of a Hawaiian Style Tour that took us through many areas of Maui including the Central Maui, Kula, Ulupalakua, Kahikinui, Hana, and Keanae. It was an amazing backside of the Island experience. I appreciated our friendly and welcoming Tour Guide Branden. He truly understands the meaning of Aloha...His informative and warm interpetation of Maui shared many aspects of the island that reminded me why I Love Maui so much, and what makes this place uniquely special. We did the road to Hana Brandon was our driver he was the best driver careful and courteous to our needs. He was very knowledgeable about Hawaii and Hāna. The banana bread given in the morning was delicious also was the lunch we had the fish and chicken.

Road to hana tour
Our first ever trip to Maui and we decided to take the road to Hana tour. Doug and Brandon were our guides and they were incredible! Aside from the amazing views and unforgettable stops our trip with these guys and the thing we learned will last a lifetime. We truly felt like family! It was nice to sit back and relax while Doug navigated the roads safely and professionally all while sharing stories and hospitality with us! I love these guys and look forward to meeting with them again sometime!!

A day chock full of aloha and adventure
This tour was a great way to spend our first day in Maui. Every stop was interesting and came with beautiful views and unique excursions. Brandon was an excellent guide--knowledgable, experienced and full of aloha. The food was great. We had fun getting to know the others in our group and seeing how people from all over the world can bond over a shared adventure. Be prepared for a long day and changes in weather--you need to be flexible and go with the flow. We had some unexpected curve balls that Brandon navigated masterfully. Highly recommend!

Good time
We really enjoyed our time with Doug owner/operator. He was a wealth of information and history of the Island. He was a very confident and great driver on the road to Hana.Our highlight was the black sand beach and seeing the sea turtles up close.He served us a great Hawaiian Lunch and it was a great small group we were apart of. It was a long day.
