Dain and Bernie were my "teammates " during my rehab from cervical spine fusion. The plan they had for my helped me to increase my neck and upper back strength, motion and flexibility. They both were very encouraging and pushed me to work hard at therapy and at home. I am well on my way to somewhat normal mobility and usage thanks to them.
Fantastic people, fantastic results. I worked with a lot of people over the months but primarily Dan (PT), Peter (PA) and Emily (OT). Helen at the front desk is wonderful and super helpful. (everyone is super nice and a pleasure to work with) I know everyone's journey is different... I am 44 and was in reasonable shape before getting in a pretty horrific motorcycle accident. 20+ broken bones, I arrived in a wheelchair and was very dependent. After about 5 months at Hartz I am getting around quite well with and without a cane and am very independent again. I am to a point where I feel confident in my home exercises to get me back to as close to 100% as I can hope for.
This was our first experience with this physical therapy location and they were absolutely wonderful. We had started at the Mount Joy location which was also great however we had some needs for neurological therapy which was why they referred us to their Lancaster branch. I cannot say how patient and understanding they were with us. Thank you for an absolutely positive experience with physical therapy. Will definitely refer and/or use this group in the future!
Astounding Progress
I have enjoyed my PT sessions with Maura. Through our work together I have made, what to me is amazing progress. I am now able to stand and sit without having to use my arms in order to hold on or push up from a seat. My physical endurance has increased. Walking up the steps is easier - I do not need to hold on to the railing, although at my age I do, just to be safe. I love, love, love my pool therapy - it's challenging, but I feel so good when I have achieved all of the goals of the session. Maura is professional and knowledgeable, but also friendly and encouraging. Our casual conversations help me feel at ease and makes it easy to provide feedback to her questions about my level of pain and/or difficulty with tasks. She is constantly aware of what's happening with me due to the one-on-one therapist to client ratio, which I enjoy at Hartz. Maura is a Five Star Therapist, and I feel fortunate to work with her.

I had an absolutely wonderful experience at Hartz PT. I was blessed to have Dain and Bernie work with me during my 8 weeks of PT following a fall and recovery from surgery for a broken femur / hip. They were very interested in knowing my goals for my recovery, understanding my activity level pre-fall, and then developing and executing a plan to focus on recovery and achieving my goals. The PT regimen they put in place allowed me to get my muscles moving and strengthening so that I could walk cane-free for well over one-half mile non-stop by the end of my therapy. There is no way I could have achieved this without their guidance and plan. I wholeheartedly recommend Hartz PT, and am very grateful for their services and their support!

Five stars for Justin Seekins and Jenn Coryell at Hartz Physical Therapy in Lititz. I came to the clinic after a frustrating golf injury to my left thigh. I was having trouble performing routine everyday activities and wasn't getting any relief after seeing my medical doctors. They suggested I talk to a physical therapist and I'm glad I took their advice. From the first session with Justin and Jenn I felt I was in expert hands. I wasn't just looking to heal but wanted to insure the injury never happened again. Justin developed a targeted plan that not only eventually eliminated my pain but also improved my core stability and rotation allowing me to swing a golf club with more mobility. I'm ready to get back in the game. Thank you Justin and Jenn for providing me with such great care!

My physical therapist was at the lititz location with Krysle.
Krystle was very personable! She developed a plan for me that helped strengthen my tendons on my left leg. She corrected me when my form was off, offered variable options for exercises, and always made me look forward to the next session. The exercises were very effective! There was never a wait time with this practice, and the entire staff was always so attentive to me! I definitely recommend Krystle to everyone! Her continuous encouragement was one everyone could definitely benefit from!
Unbelievable experience since I came upon this physical therapist from someone I met at my retirement community. She goes there and she could not say enough about Daulton Rutter, and how he has helped her! I was suffering so bad and was set up at another PT group in the area and experiencing nothing like I have experienced on my visits here. So I contacted Daulton Rutter at Hartz Physical Therapy & he has been amazing and has helped me so much just after only a few visits I am seeing unbelievable results and improvement. I cannot recommend him highly enough since he is the best with his expertise and is so knowledgeable in what he does. He is so kind and helpful and you can always reach him by phone or email and he gets back to you in between visits with the answer you need. I cannot recommend him & this practice enough, and I thank God for finding him! He has truly been a “miracle worker”!
