I recently had the pleasure of joining my family at Hamilton Parc for a “Friendsgiving” meal prepared by the staff, and I can’t express enough how thoughtful and generous this event was. What I imagined would be a simple community dinner quickly became something so much more—an experience that felt like being welcomed into a large, warm family gathering. The staff were incredibly accommodating, cheerful, and clearly dedicated, ensuring the evening felt festive and special, even after finishing their regular shifts. I had the chance to speak with several of my parents’ neighbors, all of whom had wonderful things to say about the beautiful facility and the sense of community there. When I briefly spoke with Kristin, who was moving through the room introducing herself and checking on everyone, she made a point to credit her two employees, Jolean and Steve, for shopping and preparing such a delicious meal. It meant a lot to see staff not only participating so fully, but doing so on a Friday evening when they surely had families of their own to return to. Their dedication shows. The collective warmth and community spirit at Hamilton Parc is truly evident, and it reassures me that we made the right choice. I look forward to sharing our positive experience with others. My recent visit to Hamilton Parc was honestly exceptional. From the moment we arrived, Executive Director Kristin made the entire experience feel warm, welcoming, and genuinely special. She guided us through the community with such attention to detail that it was impossible not to notice how deeply she cares about her work and the people who live there. We attended an event hosted by Hamilton Parc, and it was clear how much thought and passion went into every part of it. We have lived at Hamilton Parc for five months and are glad we moved here. We second the compliments others have written. The folks we’ve met have been friendly and welcoming. The staff members genuinely care about the residents. There’s a wide variety of activities, and Jeanne is receptive to suggestions for more. As we were told when we toured the place, you can participate to whatever extent you choose. The location is convenient to the restaurants, stores and businesses in Guilderland, as well as the farm stands and other rural attractions of Voorheesville, Altamont, and beyond.

We just moved into Hamilton Parc and we couldn't be happier. My husband & I were looking for a 55+ community and Hamilton Parc checked all our boxes and more. We had looked at other places but none could hold a candle to Hamilton Parc. The building is brand new and beautiful. The apartments are laid out so nicely, the appliances and finishing touches are top notch. We started with a phone conversation with Polly (who is so very sweet) & decided we had to view Hamilton Parc. Polly was patient & answered all our questions and found us the perfect apartment. Pam is so kind and made the lease signing such an easy process. Jeanne has been so wonderful and accommodating and does so much for this community to ensure all your needs are me. Stephen has been so helpful and has made the move in process less stressful. He also makes sure the community has fun (like an adult Easter egg hunt & bonfires).Then we have Jolene who is so kind and always has a smile for you. Our ultimate goal was to find a place where we could be in a community with people our age (60) and be active. The staff here is exceptional and do so much for the residents. The amenities offered here are abundant. We are looking forward to meeting all our new neighbors and making new friends. If you're looking for an ACTIVE community look no further.

Although I have only lived here for three months, I feel at home. It has been a joy from the moment I arrived. Jeanne, Stephen , and Joelene (administration) could not have been more accommodating or kinder. The building is immaculate, the amenities are wonderful and I am so happy to be here. It has been said in literature, “there’s no place like home” but I have found a lovely new home here!

I arrived at Hamilton Parc in mid-November 2024. My house was to big, so I wanted to downsize to a smaller living arrangement. What attracted me to Hamilton Parc was its location. I wanted to continue living in the Guilderland Community and a 55+ senior living community. The first person I met at Hamilton Parc was Pam, the Director of Sales and Marketing. Pam greeted me with a warm smile and welcomed me to the facility. Pam took me on a tour of the complex, showing me the various floor plans and explaining the different options I could chose from, such as what floor I would have my apartment and the location my apartment would be. She was professional and answered my questions and concerns. I am pleased with the floor plan I chose and the location of my apartment. The staff (Jeanne, Joelene, and Stephen) are very accommodating. They ensure the residents are happy and enjoy their time here. I'm also enjoying the amenities and activities Hamilton Parc has to offer. I participate in the H2O class in the pool and the MELTS class in the Dance and Music Room, and I also use the Golf Simulator. I feel welcome here at Hamilton Parc, I enjoy living here.

The plan was to downsize and sell the home if we could find the right 55+ community, and we did in September 2024. We found that Hamilton Parc in Guilderland more than provided what we were looking for. The amenities vary from art classes, to swimming. We use the salon, game room, library, tavern, game room (shuffle board, pool table and golf simulator) the outdoor patios and grilling/fire pit area. All is new. The staff (Jeanne, Stephen and Jolene) make every day living so easy. Regards, Phil & Brenda

The best move I ever made was moving o Hamilton Arc. The staff are Professional, efficient and very friendly. All you need in an over 55 community under one roof with planned activities, trips and events daily. The Continental daily breakfast is another added perk. We looked at many retirement apartments and were not happy with what we saw. Then we toured Hamilton Parc, we were totally amazed at all the extra things we saw there. Like a heated pool, sauna, activity rooms, Library, movie theater, 3 elevators, a great exercise room plus fabulous apartments, and much more . Everything is built for handicapped accessible and easy access parking is abundant. The staff is very friendly and accommodating, Jeanne at the front office, Joelene at the front desk , and Steve handles all maintenance issues quickly. We have been living there for two months and enjoy meeting all the residents. A full list of activity functions each day awaits us and keeps us happy and busy. We are proud of our new home and happy with the new friends we have made here.

After living in my house for almost 30 years, I realized it was time for me to downsize. I was the first resident to move into Hamilton Parc on April 1. It was one of the best decisions I’ve made. Already, my apartment feels like home. The building and grounds are kept clean and neat, yet inviting. There are numerous activities and, if desired, there is always something to do. Though, the main reason that I would recommend Hamilton Parc is the people, both residents and staff. The local management team (Jeanne, Jolene and Stephen) are extremely responsive and always willing to assist with any questions or concerns. It’s clear they genuinely care about the community and the residents’ well-being.

“I moved to Hamilton Parc retirement facility from Central Virginia in early fall. I loved the state but wanted to be closer to my daughter, Agnes, who lives in Rotterdam, NY. My health isn’t quite what it was and Agnes has helped me with several difficult situations. So, here I am, at one of the best local retirement facilities, enjoying my small but comfortable and very functional apartment, the gym and a wonderful warm-water swimming pool. One of my ailments is an advanced osteoarthritis and hydrotherapy provides one of the best ways to reduce the associated pain. The facility is well-organized. It provides an excellent assistance to its tenants. However, what’s really amazing at Hamilton Parc is its staff. Jeanne, Pam, Joelene and Steve are the best professionals I have met so far during my journey through various rehab and retirement facilities. Their dedication has no limits as they put their minds and hearts into making the living in this facility comfortable and meaningful. Excellent facility with a stellar staff!❤️”

We have been at Hamilton Parc for just about 2 months and I am throughly impressed, this is a special place! The apartments are comfortable and convenient. The amenities are incredible; a beautiful pool and sauna and a full gym make additional memberships unnecessary. My favorites are the art room, complete with supplies, and the library which is perfect for a peaceful afternoon read. As others have mentioned, the staff (Jeanne, Joelene, Steven and Annabel) make the difference. They go out of their way to make sure the residents feel at home. They’ve really set the tone for a friendly, respectful and inclusive community.

I moved to Hamilton Parc in September and from the moment I arrived I felt at home. The facility is new and beautiful but the greatest asset at Hamilton Parc is the staff. I was so touch by the calls I received on Friday from the building manager letting me know she was going home but that I could call her and she would be back in a few minutes to help me. Jeanne Bendder is the heart of Hamilton Parc. Hardworking, always pleasant and willing to go out of her way to help everyone. Steven is efficient and kind. There is nothing he does not know how to do it. Of course Joellyn is always busy like a little bee making everyone comfortable, with Her smile. The amenities are great, the Yoga, the acuático exercises, the melt and the speakers that are invited are all excellent quality. The othe members of the community are such a great addition to a community of caring, generous and lovely people. I was afraid to retired and be bored but I am busier . I recommend this community without any reservation.

I moved into Hamilton Parc in June and have not regretted that move. Now I don't have to leave the building to take out trash or get my mail. The staff here, Jolene, Stephen and Jeanne are absolute wonders. They go out of their way to make things happen for the residents in planning activities and helping to solve problems. They were instrumental in helping me a couple times when I had medical problems. My fellow residents are all friendly and we enjoy each others company. My favorite events are the trivia sessions, the fires in the courtyard in the evening, community dinners, the library and the art room. I am hosting a family party in a couple weeks in the theater which my nephew-in-law has wanted to do since he saw it. We now have beauty salon services and PT/OT/Speech therapy on site. Cleaning services are also available. We also receive free internet and cable service from Spectrum. I often have groceries and other items delivered so will rarely need to leave here when the weather is bad and driving is hazardous. For me, this is the best place to be.

After six months at Hamilton Parc, we are convinced this particular setting has offered the perfect transition from homeowners for about 50 years to apartment dwellers. The building decor is beautiful. The apartment is comfortable and the many meeting rooms are amazing. As more people arrive, the range of activities expands, constantly adjusting to various interests be it art, exercise swimming , dance,games, book discussions, speakers ,group meals and more. There is no pressure to participate but lots of opportunity to belong. Another absolute reason we like it here is the caring staff (Jeannie, Stephen, Joelene, Annabel ) who strive to meet all our needs beyond the ordinary. Their support and the friendships we’ve enjoyed have made Hamilton Parc feel like home.

It is now a few days past one full week that we are residents of Hamilton Parc, and we are absolutely thrilled to be living here and are extremely happy with everything about our new home. As you can imagine, selling our house and starting this new chapter of our lives could have been an experience filled with stress and anxiety, but Jeanne, Steve, Pam, and Joelene easily allowed us to follow a path filled with happiness and joyful excitement. We are extremely grateful for the way the whole Hamilton Parc staff accommodated all our requests, enabling us to enjoy a smooth transition and successful move into our beautiful new apartment. We truly feel like we are living within a beautiful dream, and we could not imagine a more successful and heartwarming experience.
