Una estancia Inolvidable
☺Nuestra estancia ha sido maravillosa; hemos disfrutado mucho. La ubicación en plena naturaleza para nosotros ha sido excelente, con vistas impresionantes y si tienes coche, fácil acceso a todos los lugares de interés. El trato de los anfitriones, Víctor y Lara ha sido excepcional, siempre atentos y amables, cuidando los detalles. Sin duda, ¡recomendamos este lugar! y ¡esperamos repetir!.

☺Víctor y Lara fueron maravillosos, el trato fue espectacular desde el primer hasta el último día. Tienen la finca muy bien cuidada, las casas están decoradas con mucho esmero y mimo. ☺Lugar tranquilo numa propriedade rural bem preservada onde os proprietários Sr. Victor e Sra. Iara nos fazem sentir em casa e nos dão dicas úteis sobretudo de restaurantes.

☺ The owners are super friendly and the communication was very smooth and the replies were very quick.
The house is located near to a very small village, in the countryside. Very quiet and very high, around 1000m of altitude. Quite often the house is surrounded by clouds.
The bed is very comfortable and the kitchen is very well equipped.
The village nearby has the basics. Restaurants, cafes, mini supermarkets, pharmacies and gas station.
☹ The location is not quite easy to access by foot or public transportation. The streets are very steep.
Even if you drive a car, it can be a little bit challenging to drive through the steep streets and narrow roads.
Our cell phones were not working in a radius of 3 km from the location , due to the lack of signal.

I understand that if we are in the middle of the mountain it is normal that it is not entirely easy to access on foot or by public transport.
There are 3 ways to get to La Gustoza, which we, the owners, always send a few days before the arrival of the guests.
Unfortunately there are guests who do not follow our instructions, for this reason they go round and round trying to find us. The coverage in the village is poor, in La Gustoza there is no connection problem because we have fiber optics.

Stunning spacious country home in the hills
☺ Victor and Iara are warm and welcoming hosts who went out of their way to make us comfortable. We stayed in the larger house on the compound and it was wonderful. Stylish (country farmhouse style), colourful, spacious and beautifully set out. The TV was great (satellite and Netflix etc) and the lounge area was super comfortable. The bedroom was lovely with a wonderful big window looking onto the lush gardens and trees. The bed in the master bedroom was amazingly comfortable and extra long (I'm 1.92m). Shower was powerful and hot. When we arrived the property was shrouded in cloud and drizzle (it's high up), but this didn't spoil our time there. Towards the end of our stay the sun came out and it was wonderful. There are forest walks just up from the property. Security is excellent with a large electronic gate.
☹ Really not much to dislike at all. It is a steep drive up narrow roads so be aware of that, but it's what gives it its charm also.
Clothes washing/drying facilities would have been extra great. A few more kitchen implements and maybe some sun loungers. But really, these are mere quibbles.

For your better information, on Booking.com it specifies what each room consists of. The sun loungers are visible next to your room. We have a washing machine service, but not a dryer, since La Gustoza belongs to Medio Ambiente and does not allow us to use power from the street, but rather solar panels, the guests have to inform us.
As for more kitchen supplements, I do not know which ones you are referring to.
There are many ways to get to Casa La Gustoza, and we, the owners, always send the perfect location a few days before the arrival of all guests to avoid other locations that have steep and narrow streets.
But unfortunately there are guests who do not follow our directions and come by other routes.
