A Stunning Way To Start The Day!
Even with the late booking, Gusti, our driver and guide from the All Inclusive Ubud Tour (which is also worth doing), came through and gave us the opportunity to hike up the Batur Volcano!
From where we were staying it was roughly an hour and a half drive to get to the base of the Volcano, which meant we had to leave at 2 AM to reach the peak for sunrise.
At the base, we met with our hiking guide, Mantu and his wife who were very welcoming and helpful in our hike to the summit. The route we took was the faster out of the two, taking roughly an hour and 20 minutes, which included three small breaks along the way. The journey down was more of a gradual route, which was easier on the legs.
For the hike, I would recommend wearing hiking shoes or shoes with a lot of grip as the loose volcanic gravel was our main challenge on the way up!
Even with little sleep, the hike, the company, and the view are all worth the red stingy eyes and the jelly legs!
Thanks to Gusti and our hiking guide, Mantu, we were able to create ever-lasting memories with the pictures to prove it! I highly recommend this tour, so glad we did it!

روپیه به اندازه کافی ببرید چون محلش در یک خیابان کنار گذر کوتا به دنپاسار قرا گرفته و نزدیکترین دفتر یا کیوسک صرافی حدود نیم ساعت پیاده فاصله داره
هزینه اش برای بزرگسال 100 هزار و بچه زیر قد 120 سانتی مت 50 هزار روپیه است
اگر همانجا بخواهید به دلار مثلا بپردازید مبلغ خیلی بالاتری از شما میگیرند
درضمن بهتره تاکسی را به صورت رفت و برگشت بگیرید چون محلش کنار اتوبان قرار گرفته و محل گذر تاکسی هم نیست. حدودا یک ساعت کار شما برای گرفتن عکس از هشت اتاق آنجا طول می کشد
Expensive
The driver was very friendly. The excursion in and of itself was VERY expensive. Paying to enter every temple was not cheap, and at one point we had to pay to enter the “city” then pay for a disgusting lunch. Overall we wasted a lot of money and time with the excursion. If you see one temple you’ve pretty much seen them all. Sadly I wouldn’t recommend this excursion.
Amazing temples
We enjoyed this tour and our joy ride with Mr. Yoga. We never had a dragging moments with him. And he is offering a very affordable private car tour. Just PM me for his number.

This is a great place to visit, very spiritual whatever your belief is. At the entrance you will be given a sarong of your clothing is not right, if you want to go into the water you can hire a sarong for the water and to pray. Maybe not for everyone but I found it quite moving, there are certain fonts you can not use as two are for the dead and some are for children, but the people will keep your right!

Really enriching experience
I booked this tour via Bali Golden Tour and they were very prompt in replying. Our tour guide Wayan Lukluk was really sincere and very knowledgeable in sharing about Balinese culture, all throughout the trip. He was very well versed in English and shared about how the rice is harvested as well as other stops. He answered our questions promptly such as the architecture of the palace and Temples that we drove past, and even went out of his way to find Babi Guling for us as we were curious about the local Indonesian food. It was truly an eye opening experience, would definitely recommend this.

Rice fields, coffee, countryside.
An awesome day trip with Gusti, leaving early in the morning we visited Tanah Lot before the crowds. The sun rose lighting up all the temples and the ocean. The day was filled with lovely views as we drove around the hills full of rice. Gusti gave his all entertaining us with stories and facts, no question went unanswered. We had a fabulous day!

On 11/20/2018, we had an excursion with Gusti to see a traditional Barong and Keris dance, Batuan Temple, a coffee stop to try some Luwak coffee, Goa Gajah, Tirta Empul and the Mother Temple Besakih.
I was a bit curious and nervous after reading the last review that was posted but I had an amazing and completely different experience.
Gusti picked us up from our villa and started off by letting us know what the plan for the day was (the itinerary that the day was based off) he let us know that if there was something that we didn’t want to do, to just let him know.
He was very professional and answered all our questions and even walked around the Batuan temple explaining to us what everything was and the different levels of temples and what the functions were. He explained the history and the three big Gods that are worshipped. We ended up being at Tirta Empul for about 2 hours due to a long line at the purification springs, he was so understanding and even let us skip a lunch so we could make it to Besakih in time before it closed.
My friend and I had a great experience with Gusti and definitely recommend him to anyone who is thinking of doing an excursion to the temples. He was professional, educational/informative and delightful to spend the day with.
Lack of information
No answer about the costs before. Until 14 hours before. We answered we like to know this before 24-hours before when the cancellation time finish. Just the trekking was 690000IDR/pers more. They where very rude. So actually you pay this amount just for a driver. A 10-hours car with driver costs less and you can do the same trip. We cancelled without any refund. Had a 10-hours driver and paid 300000IDR/pers for trekking with guide 2h at the highest point.

Gusti was great! He made our trip so enjoyable because we didn’t have to worry about how we would get around. We knew he was going to be a great driver and also give great suggestions on things to do. Friendly and helpful! Couldn’t have asked for better!
