Huge thanks to Guru at Home Tutoring! Finding flexible tutoring with great teachers isn't easy, but they’ve been amazing. My kids have had fantastic teachers like Ms. Ekshita, Ms. Mamta, Ms. Shubasree, and Ms. Raman over the years. Currently, they’re studying with Ms. Mamta and Ms. Shubasree, and the classes are always engaging. The teachers build such a good connection with the kids that they feel like approachable mentors rather than strict tutors, which makes asking doubts so easy. Very happy with their service!
We are very happy with the teaching style of Navtej kaur mam. The progress and support our child has received this year is amazing. Thank you for being such a caring and dedicated teacher. Thanks you for your continuous support.
Beware if you’re considering GAH for your child’s enrichment (especially for working parents outside India). After nearly two years as a customer, I’m disappointed with the overall experience.
Key issues I encountered:
Inconsistent, unreliable instructors
Many tutors are post‑grad students doing this part‑time and often juggle multiple employers.
Frequent no‑shows and last‑minute cancellations with reasons ranging from power/network issues to local events, illness, phone issues, etc.
Constant reschedule requests make it impractical for families managing tight schedules and time zone constraints.
Low preparation and engagement
Sessions often felt improvised; tutors would ask “what do you want to study today?” and build materials on the fly.
Homework was assigned but rarely reviewed unless prompted.
Limited understanding of Western school systems and exam schedules; missed/shifted classes hurt exam prep.
Some tutors connected via mobile data—poor audio/video and minimal screen sharing, which degrades engagement.
Weak operations and coordination
Coordinators often lacked continuity—each interaction felt like starting from scratch.
Quick to offer temporary band‑aid fixes, but little follow‑through or ownership of long-term progress/quality.
Escalations frequently ended with “we’ll get back to you” and limited follow-up.
Lack of clear contracts and surprise fees
No transparent, formal contract outlining billing/costs or termination terms.
Upon ending the engagement, I was surprised by additional fees—prioritize clarity on pricing and exit terms before committing.
Bottom line:
If you’re a busy family overseas seeking consistent, well‑structured support, I wouldn’t recommend GAH. The unreliability, low preparation, and weak operational follow‑through overshadow any benefits. Look for providers with clear contracts, stable staffing, and proven familiarity with your local curriculum and testing timelines.

You continued our services for more than 2 years, if the services were not upto the mark as mentioned by you in your review, we really wonder why the services were continued for such a long period. Throughout the engagement, our team made all possible efforts to accommodate your requirements and made necessary adjustments. The decision to discontinue our service was not based on the quality of service. Rather, it followed a series of events where you misbehaved with our tutor, coordinator and other team members. Disagreements are common and we always aim to resolve them on priority but we can’t accept disrespectful or abusive communication towards our team.
Despite of all this, while every policy and fee charges were shared with you earlier, we decided to issue a full refund to you without deducting any extra charges.
We remain committed to maintaining a respectful, transparent and supportive environment for both our students and tutors.

I am extremely happy with the progress my daughter Amalia has made since joining Guru at Home Institute. She was an average student in Maths before, but with the guidance, patience and dedication of her Maths tutor, Miss Yashmita, she has improved tremendously.
Miss Yashmita is such a dedicated, understanding and supportive teacher. She takes the time to understand the child’s needs, explains concepts clearly and encourages them to do their best. Her hard work and commitment have made a real difference in Amalia’s confidence and performance.

Teacher is having good teaching skills and it was useful to my son who is doing his A levels in England, however the monitoring is really not good. No proper feedbacks and no class tests / mock exams conducted. So not a good experience as everything is just left to the tutor. No system in place.

Miss Aiman Hussain is a wonderful English teacher for my daughter, Heera, who is studying in the UK. She is patient, supportive, and genuinely cares about her students. We have seen a clear improvement in Heera’s confidence and English skills. I would highly recommend Miss Aiman to any parent looking for a caring and dedicated teacher.
The tutor your kid gets matters . Its not like all teachers are good by default. They need to sync well with the phase of your kid . Teacher Hussain is good for my kid ..She does well with my kid requirements . Giving 4 starts only as its not too long journey yet .. Hope it will be ..
As a parent, I am very pleased with the tuition classes my child has been attending at 'Guru at home' The teachers are very good, knowledgeable and approachable, which has made a significant difference in my child’s confidence and understanding of the subjects.
My daughter (year 3) initially started with math classes in August 2025 which is giving by Mrs Saloni, & we’re very satisfied with her. Recently she also started her English class as well with Miss Navtej Kaur which is going well.
The regular assessments and feedback also help me track my child’s progress.
My child feels comfortable asking questions and actively participating, which has greatly improved her engagement and performance in school.

We’ve had a really positive experience with my daughter’s online maths tutor, Ms Shweta. She has been incredibly supportive and attentive, always taking the time to tailor lessons based on my requests and my daughter’s specific needs.
One of the things we appreciate most is the real-time feedback she provides during sessions. It helps my daughter immediately understand her mistakes and learn the correct approach, which has made a noticeable difference in her confidence.
Ms Shweta is also doing a great job preparing her for her end-of-year assessment. The lessons are focused, well-structured, and clearly aimed at building both her skills and exam readiness.
