I had to get my clutch calibrated on my 2006 maserati gransport It was replaced by a local guy, I thought I was saving $$$. The guy didn't know how and didn't had a calibration tool. I search the internet and found GTE. Serkan told me to come in right away. He ended up redoing the job had too much grease and loose clutch bolts. He was such a gentleman he redo everything his crew Lion and him brought my car back to specs. I cannot thank them enough for what they did for me. His quality of work and step by step information update was bar none. I will never take my car anywhere else.

This is not the place to go for a $5k clutch rebuild. But if you want the smoothest, best-calibrated, apparently highly reliable and overall very enjoyable F1, read on. I spent a year or two with various bugs in the F1 in my Maserati Gransport Spyder, thinking low fluid, a failure in various ancillary systems, all the thoughts except the obvious, it was time for a new clutch. After limping around in forward gears only, among shops that either didn't have the right scan equipment or didn't know how to use the Leonardo tool they did have (maybe their subscription lapsed?), I searched and found the large number of options for clutches on the F1 offererd by GTE, and thought there might be more to that. There was!
GTE is headed by Mr. Oz, who is an artist. He know more about F1's than anyone, I am comfortable saying. Factory training, lots of experience, and, no surprises, lots of opinions -- none of them that I could or would take issue with. All of them, I benefited from. True he can be a bit emotional about things that others might not even mention, notice, or care about. I've heard he upsets some people some time. I encourage you to understand that as all being for your own good. Learn from him. Approach with appropriate humility and it will be rewarded.
There was a waiting list, I had to get the car from Colorado to Orange, NJ, a $1500 trip each way, and he wanted the car out quickly once he was done, because the shop is small.
I have the benefit of a point of reference -- a F1 overhaul done two years ago by a very fine shop that has all the needed tools and does F1s regularly, though not all the time as GTE does. That was on my coupe. The coupe F1 is also a delight to drive, but shifts and engages a just a bit roughly. I can hear the clink of the shifts easily, with the window down. There is a tiny bit more lag in the shifts.
In contrast, the GTE F1 shifts just about silently, and engagements are silky. The whole thing is "buttery" though by that I don't mean it lacks any ferocity when pushed. It is simply perfect. I don't have experience with factory new F1s, but wonder if the factory could have delivered such a refined product from their production line.
I had a few other things done, and the overall cost was substantial but in the ballpark and probably closer to the middle of pricing than to the top. Very, very highly recommended
