I purchased plants for the first time at GG and had a great experience. Phone conversations were professional and well coordinated as they connected me with different departments. Shay in the shrubs department was especially helpful both on the phone and when I picked up my order. You can tell that GG trains for excellence. They understand that this is a customer service business that also sells plants. Highly recommend!
Every time I visit, there’s a wonderful selection of native plants, vegetables, ornamentals, shrubs, and trees. The staff are always very helpful and you can tell they enjoy working there! This is also a fine place to have your propane tank filled. Check out all the nooks and crannies, don’t miss the water features, and look for the hidden discounts.

Solid parking, the selection is pretty solid, the plants are all well taken care of, and definitely some solid winners. Customer service was also friendly, informative, and it doesn't take long to find somebody if you're lost and looking. I'd go here again.

Unfortunate
I recently visited Growing Grounds, and unfortunately, my experience was far from pleasant. I was looking forward to exploring what they had to offer, but I found the staff to be quite unhelpful and unapproachable.
When I arrived, I had a few questions about the products, but the staff (including what seemed to be a manager?) seemed more interested in chatting about their weekend plans rather than assisting customers. I stood around for quite some time, hoping someone would offer help, but it felt like I was invisible. When I finally managed to get a staff member's attention, their responses seemed like they wanted to get rid of me and lacking any real assistance.
It’s disappointing because I had heard great things about Growing Grounds, but the attitude of the staff really put a damper on my visit. Customer service is key, and in this case, it was sorely lacking. I left feeling frustrated and not inclined to return anytime soon.

Very helpful staff & owner. They ordered soapwort....there were a couple us asking for it and there's still some available(attached photo is what the plant looks like when mature) Timing worked out & they were able to add it on the next order for us. If you don't see what youre looking for, ask them. Love this place and it's across from Highland golf course (photos attached)
