There's a reason Groovy Hues has consistent 5-star reviews across the board. I honestly can't say enough good things about this team. From the very first call to the actual paint job, the entire experience was seamless.They have a level of communication and responsiveness that you simply don't typically get with contractors. Michelle came out to look at the project within maybe a day of contacting them for a quote, and we had a detailed quote back while she was still at our house. From there, communication was fantastic the entire time. Michelle was incredibly responsive anytime I had a question or needed an update to the scope, and Leah did an amazing job keeping everything moving behind the scenes. They even reached out to try to fit us into the schedule sooner when they had a cancellation, which we really appreciated. What impressed me most was how much care went into the work before they ever opened a can of paint. The prep work was meticulous. They spent so much time spackling, repairing, and smoothing the walls, and you could immediately tell they weren't just trying to paint over imperfections. They took the time to make sure the walls were truly ready, and it made such a difference in the finished product. You can see what I mean in the photos. The painting itself exceeded our expectations. We even had them painting up some narrow, steep steps in a Philly home, and everything looks incredible - the lines are crisp, and the finish is flawless on the stairs, the hallways, and the rooms they did. They arrived with a full crew, worked efficiently all day, and were super careful, kind, and respectful. It's rare to find a company that's this professional, communicative, and detail-oriented from beginning to end. If you're looking for the best paint job in the Philadelphia area, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them. We're so happy we chose them and would absolutely use them again.

As a (recently new) first-time homeowner, I had no idea what to expect. Groovy Hues was absolutely the best choice to help me navigate this process! Matt took the time to explain every single step to me (multiple times). He was also quick to respond and more than willing to help in any way. Matt and the team were also incredibly flexible and accomodating when I had to push my start date back a few times due to other ongoing renovations. The color consultant, Linsey, is absolutely amazing. When my first-time homeowner anxiety kicked in, she patiently guided me through all my color changes and endless questions. The final result is amazing! Mynor and his crew went above and beyond from start to finish. He was so willing to address any concerns I had and genuinely went the extra mile to ensure everything turned out exactly how I wanted it. This was our first time using professional painters and we were nervous about the cost and the process. Groovy Hues eased all of that anxiety by providing a free consultation with Michelle to come see what work we needed done and provide a quote that was easily adjustable based on our final decisions about what we chose to have completed. We also took them up on their free color consultation with Linsey, who helped us bring our visions to a reality with her wealth of knowledge (and swatches) of paint colors, types, and finishings. Leah made sure all of our scheduling was done smoothly and communicated throughout the whole process. Finally, Mynor and his team came and did a seamless job with the actual painting. They paid attention to every detail, were professional and friendly, and were in and out within one day. They cleaned up really well after themselves and put everything back where they found it. The exterior of our house had not been painted in over 20 yrs. The paint was chipping off, with some spots down to the bare wood, and we were in desperate need of a miracle.
