After a pre-purchase inspection revealed issues with the foundations of a property I was interested in, Grace Foundations carried out a detailed assessment before I committed to buying. Their report clearly outlined the necessary repairs and associated costs, giving me the confidence to proceed with the purchase. Following settlement, the team completed the work exactly as described, including releveling the house and securing the piles. Richard, Harrison, and the guys who did the actual work were all excellent to deal with. They were knowledgeable, professional, and great communicators throughout. The job was completed promptly, to a high standard and to the quote that was provided. I would highly recommend Grace Foundations to anyone needing foundation work.

Disappointing. If you have a nuanced, complex issue, be warned that the advertised "free evaluation" will likely be conducted solely via photos. Photos simply don't tell the full story, and it's unreasonable to expect a homeowner to know what crucial evidence to highlight. Despite my concerns, there was no willingness to visit the site for a thorough assessment, talk things through and catch any other issues not represented in the photos like every other tradesperson has done for me previously. For significant structural concerns, relying only on pictures isn't sufficient - try somewhere else.

Harrison and the team at Grace Foundations came out to assess some pooling water at my 1960s beach apartment and found that the joists had no fixings, so they came back and installed joist to bearer fixings installed to exceed the requirements under NZS3604:2011. I’m happy to have this extra security under my floor. The communication was swift and informative at all times .

I made an appointment with Richard from Grace Foundation for a quote. I thought we needed new piles in a small section of the house. Richard's recommendations were that we do not everything is fine but to keep an eye on it just in case. He was knowledgable, genuine, honest and most helpful. I appreciated what he had to say, did not push for something we did not need and would definitely come back to him if we did need any work done in the future. Recommended A+
