Horrific had a golf tournament today and it was so loud I couldn't even hear my husband speak. Tons of drunk young adults. It was horrible. Paying 200 for dinner at a sports bar basically. If I could post a video I would. Highly don't recommend
We were there on Sunday March 15th for my white's 60th birthday started out with the crab cake that came with coleslaw. I don't even like coleslaw and that stuff was delicious. Crab cake was perfect, then we got our steaks they were cooked to our satisfaction, and the scallops were out of this world.
We were in French Lick over the weekend and decided to stop in to Moo Moo's for an early dinner. The restaurant is beautiful. It was noisy while we were there because there was a large party in the front of the restaurant, but it didn't bother us.
My husband ordered the Mahi Oscar and I had the French Onion Chicken. Both dishes were delicious. We also enjoyed the crisp salads before our entrees. Our server was attentive and brought us more of the delicious, fresh bread when we asked for more.
We had a nice dinner. We will visit again.
Visited on a Saturday night; reservations made in advance. Was not very busy. Only saw our waitress a few times. Drinks ordered took excessive time. Appetizer (calamari) was delicious. Steak was very overcooked. Scallops were overcooked and had been sitting under a heat lamp for extended amount of time. Waitress asked how our food was, and then continued to talk without even getting our response. Service and food were what I would expect for $15-$20 per person. For two drinks, an appetizer, and two entrees, it was $200. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND.
Everything was very good. More dressy attire than casual, although they won't turn you away if you are dressed casual. Food was very good.
What a "gem" in French Lick. We were staying at the French Lick Resort and wanted to GO OP (off property) for dinner. The food was amazing 1) homemade dressing, 2) filet tender and flavorful, 3) salmon perfect, and Lemon Marscapone Cake for to go dessert. Could not say enough good. Shana was our wait staff and she was phenomenal. We will be back down the road.
The staff is fantastic. I had Amberjack (fish) and a mushroom side. The seasoning was a bit too salty for my taste and the fish was over cooked, however the Asian flavor was super.
The husband had the ribeye and potato and was very pleased, cooked perfect and seasoned just right.
Extremely relaxing environment. It's beautiful just to be in booths and the seating is comfortable. The food was top notch. I imagine that if Gordon Ramsay was sitting here, he would really enjoy this food. Our chef even came out to check on us to see if we were doing all right which I found to be very hospitable our server Sarah was awesome. She went above and beyond the entire time she served us. My wife had calamari and her exact words were this is the best calamari I've ever had and she eats it quite often she also had the french onion chicken which was absolutely delicious and the potatoes were on point! We also had the crab cake which I highly recommend
I myself had the bruschetta chicken and it was delicious. Neither of them were dry.
This place is expensive compared to other places. However, I can tell you that you will leave very satisfied as long as you have a night like ours I believe we spent $200 here. Do not regret it
I can't for the life of me remember the head chef's name tonight but he did come out and greet us. I do believe his name was Ryan.
Atmosphere was wonderful. Couples are always there. The fish was amazing and my wife’s steak was delicious
My husband and I went for the first time last weekend and we won't be back. We sat at a table for two that we literally had to hold still because it rocked so bad. It was also very crowded around our table. People walking by were right against our table and chairs. The waitress was nice. Service was very slow but it was packed so we understood. My husband's $88 porterhouse was WAY over cooked. It was supposed to be rare, but wasn't even pink. The second time they brought it out it was a little more pink, but the outside was so burnt it was like charcoal. It was black and did not taste good at all.
My fillet tasted good, but was under cooked. It was supposed to be medium but was rare. I was finished eating by the time my husband received the 2nd steak.
The waitress brought our bill and said she asked if we could have a discount and she was told no. It was upsetting to pay SO much for such poorly cooked food and for them to not even care. $200 for two of us!
