The team at Salmon River Adventures are a great bunch. They were great answering questions on the phone prior to booking, and did an amazing job on the rafting adventure. Leila, our guide made us super comfortable with the safety talk and kept things super light and fun. She was also great with our kids, both making sure they felt safe but also just getting to know them and joke with them as we made our way down the Salmon. We look forward to going back for the 3 day adventure trip and would certainly recommend the team at Salmon River Adventures!

What an amazing day in the river! We were met by the base camp pup and Layla ( hope I’m spelling that right) and Dave. We opted for the full day and after being driven to the drop in spot and a lovely conversation with Dave and Layla- a thorough briefing of safety and instruction we were off.
Dave was our guide and made sure we got the full experience (and wetness) of the rapids. He was super knowledgeable of the river and history and folklore of the river and surroundings. We were super fortunate to see multiple bald eagles, herons, a minks, a bunch of female big horn sheep complete with two babies!
Lunch break was perfectly timed - sandwiches, snacks and rehydration before digging into to fun stuff! We can’t wait to visit again and hopefully explore a multiple day stay at their camp and in the river! I couldn’t recommend them enough!!!

We rented 2x16ft multiday rafts for our 5 day trip down the main salmon river at the end of May and the Salmon River Adventure Company was the perfect outfitter. They met us on time at the put in with the boats rigged and ready to go. Everything had been well arranged for our trip and everything we needed was included (e.g. repair kits, sand stake, mallets, lifejackets, splash tops and bottoms, booties, cooler, dry box, throwbags, straps) as well as 2 very well stocked kitchen boxes and partner stove/blaster/propane, dish washing and groover stations. Communication prior to our trip to make sure all the gear was arranged was a breeze. Their team, Luke, met us at the take out and was super nice and took care of de-rigging everything so quickly. They even had the water jugs all filled and ready for us. This made out trip so much easier since we were coming from out of town and we were on a tight schedule. We would absolutely rent from them again in the future and highly recommend them to anyone needing multiday gear rental!

We had a MARVELOUS 6-night Main Salmon float trip with family and friends! Would 1000% recommend Salmon River Adventure Company for this trip. We had folks in rafts, inflatable and hardshell kayaks, and paddleboards on the trip. And just like you'd expect in Idaho we had every season of weather from warm baking sun to stormy windy rain! The SRAC team made it all happen so smoothly, from staying at the SRAC base-camp the night before launch, all the way to the take-out and shuttle to get vehicles. We were able to focus on getting in some great memories with our 6- and 8-year old kids and their cousins and aunts and uncles! We hope to do the trip with SRAC again soon.

These guys are THE BEST! We did a three -day, two night trip with them, and we had an outstanding experience. Our guides, Moss and Luke took great care of us in every way.
One example stands out: on our second night, we went to sleep with clear skies; some members of our group slept out, others used tents, but only the inner portion of the tent, not the fly.
It started raining at 3:40 AM. Luke and Moss jumped out of bed and scrambled to help everyone put up a tent or put a fly on an existing tent —

Our family had the most incredible experience with Salmon River Adventure Company this July! We stayed two nights in one of their beautiful glamping tents and went whitewater rafting, and everything from start to finish was absolutely perfect.
The facilities were spotless, comfortable, and exactly what you’d hope for in a luxury camping experience. The food was delicious and plentiful, and every meal felt like it was made with care.
Our rafting trip was the highlight! Olivia was our guide, and she was phenomenal. She was so skilled, confident, and wonderful with our kids. We felt completely safe and in great hands the entire time, which let us truly enjoy the excitement of the river.
Owners Polly and Thomas Hileke went above and beyond, treating us like part of their family. Their hospitality, warmth, and genuine passion for what they do made the trip unforgettable.

I spent three nights at the campground on the banks of the salmon river with them. It is a very beautiful spot, with comfortable camping and everyone was extremely friendly and helpful. The food was also great every day, and they made sure everyone felt welcomed. The kayaking I did was so much fun and I definitely will be back at Salmon River Adventure Co sometime soon.

The best trip!! The lodging is fantastic. The tents are cozy and the beds are comfortable! Our adventure consisted of rock climbing and whitewater rafting! The guide kept us safe and the day was fabulous. The meals were delicious and amenities were perfect. Polly and Tommy have everything you need.

We did a full day float trip with Tommy as our guide, and Polly as our pickup driver. We really enjoyed him telling us about the river and the history of the area.
The views along the river were amazing and the water felt incredible whenever we splashed through the white water rapids. We enjoyed a nice lunch on the banks of the river at lunchtime.
If you are looking for a great trip down the Salmon river, we HIGHLY recommend using Salmon River Adventure Company with Tommy and Polly.
