We had a MARVELOUS 6-night Main Salmon float trip with family and friends! Would 1000% recommend Salmon River Adventure Company for this trip. We had folks in rafts, inflatable and hardshell kayaks, and paddleboards on the trip. And just like you'd expect in Idaho we had every season of weather from warm baking sun to stormy windy rain! The SRAC team made it all happen so smoothly, from staying at the SRAC base-camp the night before launch, all the way to the take-out and shuttle to get vehicles. We were able to focus on getting in some great memories with our 6- and 8-year old kids and their cousins and aunts and uncles! We hope to do the trip with SRAC again soon.

These guys are THE BEST! We did a three -day, two night trip with them, and we had an outstanding experience. Our guides, Moss and Luke took great care of us in every way. One example stands out: on our second night, we went to sleep with clear skies; some members of our group slept out, others used tents, but only the inner portion of the tent, not the fly. It started raining at 3:40 AM. Luke and Moss jumped out of bed and scrambled to help everyone put up a tent or put a fly on an existing tent — that’s service!

Our family had the most incredible experience with Salmon River Adventure Company this July! We stayed two nights in one of their beautiful glamping tents and went whitewater rafting, and everything from start to finish was absolutely perfect. The facilities were spotless, comfortable, and exactly what you’d hope for in a luxury camping experience. The food was delicious and plentiful, and every meal felt like it was made with care. Our rafting trip was the highlight! Olivia was our guide, and she was phenomenal. She was so skilled, confident, and wonderful with our kids. We felt completely safe and in great hands the entire time, which let us truly enjoy the excitement of the river. Owners Polly and Thomas Hileke went above and beyond, treating us like part of their family. Their hospitality, warmth, and genuine passion for what they do made the trip unforgettable. If you’re looking for an adventure that blends comfort, amazing scenery, and world-class guiding, look no further. We will absolutely be back!

I spent three nights at the campground on the banks of the salmon river with them. It is a very beautiful spot, with comfortable camping and everyone was extremely friendly and helpful. The food was also great every day, and they made sure everyone felt welcomed. The kayaking I did was so much fun and I definitely will be back at Salmon River Adventure Co sometime soon.

The best trip!! The lodging is fantastic. The tents are cozy and the beds are comfortable! Our adventure consisted of rock climbing and whitewater rafting! The guide kept us safe and the day was fabulous. The meals were delicious and amenities were perfect. Polly and Tommy have everything you need.

We did a full day float trip with Tommy as our guide, and Polly as our pickup driver. We really enjoyed him telling us about the river and the history of the area. The views along the river were amazing and the water felt incredible whenever we splashed through the white water rapids. We enjoyed a nice lunch on the banks of the river at lunchtime. If you are looking for a great trip down the Salmon river, we HIGHLY recommend using Salmon River Adventure Company with Tommy and Polly.

Such a great place. Excellent staff at camp and river guides. I’d give them 10 stars if I could. Heartily recommend salmon river adventure company for any adventure and nice down days at camp to recharge in a beautiful setting, tents and beds were very comfortable, bathrooms, showers clean . And delicious meals.

Our family had an amazing day on the river. Luke was an energetic, knowledgeable guide and made the day extra fun for our teen boys. Jeff provided a much needed delicious lunch and shuttle. A must do in Salmon!
