This place deserves more than 5 stars ⭐️! The customer service, food, owner & atmosphere is top tier! The ribs I got fell right off the bone and was super tender & tasty. Their bbq sauce selection & Mac & cheese is also 🔥!!!
You also have to try their jalapeño cheddar corn bread when you come in! My family will most definitely be back! 😊
Fantastic food and friendly service! The portions are huge! The smoked turkey sandwich is enough for 2 meals, Mac and cheese, deviled eggs, and green beans are great. But, the jalapeño cornbread biscuit with honey butter is the best I have ever had. If you like pork belly, brisket and more, come try this place. Simple clean atmosphere with awesome food.
Hands down the best BBQ in The Burg. The entire staff is always great to deal with it. They truly do appreciate your business and always making sure you are pleased with anything you have ordered. Also it’s not possible to leave not full you will not get cheated one ounce on your serving of food. You will definitely be unbuckling a notch or two on your belt when leaving.
Holy cow....my husband had a hankering for brisket, so we decided to go some place new. What a gem this place is. We were greeted when we walked in. The gentlemen running the place asked if we'd been there before. We told them we had not. Super friendly service. We tried several things that looked and sounded good. Ironically the things I thought I would like the least were my favorites. The smoked pickled eggs.....um....wow. I never like pickled eggs, but these were incredible! The bacon wrapped jalapeño.....yum. The star of the show, at least for me, were those baked beans. Ya'll....I never really love baked beans. I will freaking dream of these baked beans. It was like they made beans suited exactly to my taste. We will definitely be back!
Probably been ten times now and it's just fantastic. The one hit, and its my fault too, they keep forgotting the deviled eggs in m to go orders :-) You're killing me Smalls :-)
UPDATE: Ok, we've been back a few times and just wanted to say I rolled in a month ago with a big order and I just kept adding stuff. I get home and bacon jalapenos are missing...honestly, I didn't check and like I said I just kept adding stuff :-) I sort of blew it off and figured I'll roll in next time and mention it. Hour later, credit untion notices says my account has a credit. On their own, they caught it and refunded the item. Wow, that's top shelf.
Last visit, 16 August, I had the brisket sandwich and honestly I think I would club a bag of baby seals for one of these. Ok, maybe not baby seals, but toy seals that weren't being used by kids. Seriously, great stuff and of course I had smoked devil egg and jalopeno popper... I'm going to get so fat from this place.
Wow! Ok, BBQ is a personal thing and everyone has different tastes in how they like it, sauces, sides, etc. For me, this is a winner on everything we tried. Growing up in Texas, brisket is king and their brisket is great. I’d love a titch more seasoning on the bark but honestly it was literally the best brisket I've had since Texas. I've tried a lot of BBQ places in Virginia and Maryland, they are good, just not great. Again, it's all subjective but for me this will make me come back.
I over ordered because we couldn't decide what NOT to try...well we got the pulled pork sandwich, dry and moist brisket, jalapeno biscuit, coleslaw, beans, potato salad, mud pie, pickled onions, stuff jalapenos, candied jalapenos, and a dark cherry and root beer soda. I know I know, don't judge me until you've gone, I know I went too far :-) In fairness the candied jalapenos were a bonus from David :-) See, we had balance.
Everything was fantastic, no regrets except I'll be napping after this review. We took a bunch home except I killed the pound of brisket without missing a beat. I love their potato salad with the mustard and hint of spicey. Coleslaw is kind of of traditional pulled pork sandwich slaw, I could use a bit more dressing but I just kept eating it because it was good. That jalapeno biscuit/bread is nuts good. Super dense so you're thinking there's no way I can eat more than a bite or two...half a biscuit later you're just adding some butter and you’ll stop listening to your inner voice to stop.
Seriously, this was a great BBQ experience. We'll be back and the family run aspect makes it even better. We met David (son) and Linda (mom) with dad out on the smoker (sorry, didn't catch his name) with everyone being super nice. Thanks again, you have a wonderful place!

FAMILY OWNED… AMAZING FOOD… AND NO TIPPING?! Come on now… Yes, it’s true. This is the greatest bbq and maybe the best kept secret here in south Stafford. Well I’m not good at keeping secrets… so here go. We tried a bunch of items… Pulled pork-YES! Brisket-YES! Jalapeño poppers wrapped in bacon -YES! Beef Pit sandwich with horseradish and slaw-YES! and do not get me started on the cornbread and butter- YES! YES! YES! Never have I ever had something so creative and delicious! Oh wait, and on Wednesdays they have tacos?! Wait, What?! so we tried those as well- YES! What a wonderful place to visit OR grab and go… Linda (mom) and Dave (son) and crew- Thank you for delicious food! We will be back… OFTEN!
Ordered a full smoked turkey for Thanksgiving and it was SO good! Very helpful when I called to place the order, to the moment I walked in the door. I was helped by the friendly staff, and they even carried the turkey to my car and provided clear serving instructions! Restaurant is super cute inside, can’t wait to try other items from the menu!
I went here with high hopes of finding a really good place for bbq. Unfortunately my experience was terrible. I ordered the beef ribs and I got a little meat on a big bone for right around 30 dollars and the meat was good but the guy serving had an attitude and kept the good portion of meat to bone ribs and gave me the worst rib. Then I ordered pulled pork and again this guy served me a serving of mostly fat again just disappointing. The cashier also had an attitude. For these reasons I will not be going back to this bbq place or recommending it to anyone else.
