Brendan! What a trainer! We were first time dog parents and were confused in so many things. All free info on Google confused us even further. Trying to get our new Aussidoodle pup, Sky, to find a way into the family was becoming a task in itself. In comes Brendan, and his training helped the pup and us in equal portions.. we got consistency in handling our pup.. and our pup became a part of our family. Sky’s over excitement, extra arousal, high energy was all brought in control in a loving way that helped us and Sky. Thanks so much Brendan! And not to miss mentioning that his boarding facility is a no brainer for us. Sky is in safe, loving hands when we go out of town for a trip (when we cannot take him with us).. and we enjoy our vacation peacefully knowing Sky is well taken care of. Would highly recommend HazardK9 for training and boarding needs for your furry family member!

Incredible impact! Our 18 mo old Malinois/Akita mix is strong, smart, and stubborn. We needed some help correcting some behaviors and training better responses. Through 1:1 sessions and a 2 wk boarding session Brendan helped us and our dog learn the correct behaviors and responses. He trained our dog but just as important he helped us look for his triggers and act appropriately ourselves so we didn’t reinforce behavior we didn’t want. Both his leash walking and recall improved significantly and we have a great foundation to build on.

Highly recommend Hazard K9 for our golden pup training. Brendan started right off with Sam as a pup and has progressed him into airport travel familiarity and proper leash training. Believe everything you read that says Brendan is a dog whisperer! Our 1 year old, high-energy girl recently finished a board-and -train with him and we couldn’t be happier with the dog we got back. Before her training, she was nervous, reactive, and impossible to control on her walks. The pup we got back listens to instructions, walks easily on the leash without pulling, and has wonderful recall off leash. She still hears the “ferocious” UPS truck at the end of the block, but now she calms and places immediately upon our command. Brendan was systematic about introducing her to his own and other dogs, on trails, parks, and public spaces. Our Trixie will never be a dog that loves unknown dogs entering her space, so we don’t make her go to dog parks or anything. But we enjoyed a summer of camping and hiking with her as part of our family outings. Highly recommend Hazard K9!

With Marko being our first Working Dog, Brenden was understanding to how important it was for myself to gain the knowledge along with Marko! I highly recommend Hazard K9 Dog Training. When I got a new puppy that I knew would someday grow to be a big strong dog, I knew I needed to do some serious training right away. We did the board and train program with Brendan and had a great experience. He’s calm, controlled, and cautious. I had concerns about my puppy being around other dogs during the board and train, but he showed that he was responsible and trustworthy to keep my dog safe. My puppy came home at the end of her training knowing what behavior is expected of her. She walks great on her leash with no pulling, looks to me for her commands and direction, and is able to be around high traffic areas with no stress.

100% Would Recommend!! We found the Hazard k9 puppy board and train program & received a prompt, informative response to my inquiry into the program. We liked the idea of a 2 session B+T rather than one long one, & it was amazing. Our pup, Nova (4 mo at session 1, 6 at session 2) received such amazing & consistent knowledge & care during both her first, and especially her second session. Brendan kept us informed along the way, and worked with each of us (6 in our home) to show us what she needs and how to keep her training going. We felt like she was trained with our family dynamics in mind. Nova is so happy and we have built a mutual trust with the tools and skills he has provided. She’s 8mos now and can walk, explore, and play off leash. Neutrality has also been well rooted as she continues to be exposed to more of life outside of our home. Brendan is awesome and a great example to our family of consistency makes all the difference in a dog’s obedience. We feel supported knowing he is available to reach out to with questions. Brendan is EXCELLENT!!!! Never have I seen a person, far less a true dog trainer, be able to walk into a room and take control of our two pups like him! Our dogs get very very excited when anyone come to our home, but when Brendan coolly and calmly walks up to them, stands in front of them and gets then to calm down and listen to commands. My wife has labeled him the “Dog Whisperer” and he is truly that! His training and support is never-ending, and his guidance to our pups, and us, is inspirational!

Brenden is awesome! My wife and I did his board and train program with our 4 month old malamute puppy. For a dog species that is notoriously stubborn and strong willed, you would never know. After being with Brenden, he listens, understand his commands, and seems excited to learn and work everyday. He is still a puppy and has selective hearing, but he knows when he’s not doing what we want, and with a quick correction, he is back to listening to our commands. Brenden is professional and accommodating, and we are excited to continue working with him!

I am SO thankful we found Brendan! We have been working with him for almost a year now and will continue to do so for our dogs entire life!
