We made the best decision possible sending our two German Shepherd puppies to Shane for his Wild to Well-Behaved Board and Train program. He was simply amazing with them. We received updates throughout the entire process so we could see first hand the progress they were making. When he brought them home he spent over 3 hours with us going over all they had learned, taught us how to continue their training and answered every question I had. My husband and I both felt very comfortable about being able to continue working with them. We dropped off two very rambunctious babies and he brought us back two pups, that can now practice self control, and listen beautifully to commands. Shane has already followed up with us to check in on our babies behavior 😊I highly recommend Wags and Wisdom for all your training needs!

Our 8 month old German Shepherd puppy, Duke, completed the 4-week board and train with Shane and we are so happy with the results! He sent us pictures/videos throughout the 4 weeks and provided an in-depth training (2-3hrs) when Duke came home so we could continue with the great foundation Shane built. Duke has been significantly better on walks, less reactive to other people/dogs, and overall more obedient. We also really love the lifetime training relationship we now have with Shane, which makes the investment even more worth it. Overall, we highly recommend Shane!

We reached out to Shane in desperation. Our Lab pulled terrible on walks and was not enjoyable to take anywhere. We texted on his website and he responded immediately and got our very sweet dog to walk beside us. I have to admit I was a bit miffed when I got a video of our dog walking next to him but also my heart sang as well. LOL! I tried for 4 years to work with our dog and he would not comply and walk on a relaxed leash. He was always pulling. Shane is a miracle worker and you will not be disappointed with the outcome from his services.

Detailed, informative and very professional. Shared videos of the training throughout the entire process. On the final day of training Shane brought Harper (our dog) to us and spent two hours with us going over all the training and commands used so we could continue training at home. This was the best experience for us and our dog, she is a different dog and training and play time is amazing now. Would recommend Wags and Wisdom and Shane to anyone wanting a well trained pup.

Shane at Wags of Wisdom was magnificent. He took our dog, a super hyper and anxious 1 year old Pitbull-Jack Russell mix, and turned him into the loveable, obedient and happy dog we knew he could be. AND we have access to as many refresher sessions as we need. Thanks, Wag of Wisdom!

Shane was great. We had our girl with Shane for the 4 week board and train. The communication during her stay was appreciated. The go home drop off was very informative. Since her return we have seen great improvement. I have contacted Shane with a couple of questions and like always his responses are fast and detailed. We cant wait to continue her training. If we ever get another dog they will certainly go through Shane's program.

Wags and Wisdom Is best trainer in the area! Our dog got some of the greatest training and is behaving so well. Also Shane (trainer) worked with us and trained us up so we could be the best we needed to be for our do. Now we have great communication with our dog and our dog has great communication with us! Shane has educated us and given us the resources we need to continue our dogs progress! If you need training I give you my word wags and wisdom is worth EVERY PENNY!!! 5/5!!!!

My wife and I just got our 2 year old Lab back from a four week board and train with Shane and I think he gave us the wrong dog back - lol. When we dropped him off I told Shane that my biggest things were, I wanted a dog that I could have off leash, I wanted a dog that I could take to public places, and I wanted a dog that would listen when people, especially kids, come around. We can say that Shane delivered exactly what we asked for! We have a dog that listens but still has his fun personality. The only time we have him on a leash is when we go somewhere in public, beyond that he's free and loving life. At Christmas time I had him off leash in the yard for hours while I hung our decorations and he never ventured more than 20-30 feet away from me. At one point he laid down on the porch and just watched me. Before we took him to Shane he would have been crazy with anxiety and would have to be leashed to be outside. But now he's loving the life of a free and controlled dog. If I'm by the road or somewhere I don't want him to follow me I can make him sit and he'll just sit there until I give him the free command. And I'm not talking about sitting for a couple seconds, I've had him sit for over a minute and I've walked over 100 yds away and he just sits there until I call him! When we take him in town he just walks along side us and doesn't try and pull us all over the place like he use to. One nice thing is that when we leash walk him and we stop he instantly sits down and looks at us. When people come over to the house, we can put him on "place" and he won't get up and jump on them when they walk in the door. This is super nice for when older people or anyone with young kids stops by. Our daughter has a 6 month old puppy and he'll even stay on place when he comes barging in the door. If I'm being totally honest my wife and I wrestled with the cost of the program but when it came down to it, we decided this was good investment into the quality of life that we wanted with our dog. Now don't get me wrong - this isn't a "get out of training" free card, you still have to be a responsible pet owner and train yourself, your dog, and others how to live and act with this newly learned behavior, but man is it worth it!! My wife and I highly recommended Shane and Wags And Wisdom!! Attached is a photo where I had him lay down and stay, off leash, near a stream...If you know Labs and water, then you know how impressive this is!

My husband and I are so happy we made the decision to do the boarding training. We just got our sweet old pittie back and we’ve literally seen such a difference in just the first day back. It’s so nice to be able to follow The training that was implemented and it makes it so much easier for us in our lifestyle.

Shane, the owner/trainer, is very professional. He explains his services offered in great detail and recommends a training plan based on what behaviors need to be learned or improved. My dog improved his behavior better than expected. At the end of training, he will bring the dog to you and show you how to continue training. Shane provides training equipment for the owner to continue training at home that is included in the price of the package. He does a great job following up after the training.

Chloe was with Shane 3 weeks She has been home 5 days She has improved so much Before she went with Shane and I tried to walk her She would almost pull me down a couple of times, She would pull on her leash and run into me She would try to jump on people Since she came home I used the her commands and she listen and follows them We continue to work with them and I can see improvements She waits at top of stairs and come when I give command There has been no pulling when we walk she waits till I am ready to go but best of all only wanted to jump at a person 1 time but followed my direction we were at a park Shane thank you so much I was afraid I would have to rehome her at one time

We enrolled our dog Murph in Shane’s Chaos to Confidence four-week course. Murph is a rescue who had pretty good obedience and was great with people. Unfortunately, he would turn into a completely different dog when other dogs came into his space. We spoke with Shane, and he gave us a full breakdown of his program and what we could realistically expect. Throughout the entire process, he communicated clearly, keeping us informed and guiding us on how to work through everything. At one point, we thought Murph might just be aggressive—but it turns out he was simply scared and didn’t know how to react. The first video of Murph being around another dog without completely losing his mind left our jaws on the floor. Four weeks later, he came back to us a changed dog. His obedience skills are top-notch now, and he knows how to properly react when other dogs are around. We couldn’t ask for a better result.

Shane did a wonderful job with my two boys! We were so worried our golden had a behavior problem that could not be fixed and we feared having to give him away or worse! Since they’ve been home we have had no issues with the aggressive behavior!! Our lab puppy is so much more manageable! As an 80lb lab he was getting very difficult to manage! I am so happy we had Shane train our boys!! An investment worth every penny!!

Shane did an amazing job working with our girl Maya. Before Maya went to stay with Shane for her 3 weeks of puppy training, taking her on a walk such a struggle. Her first walk after she came home was such an amazing difference. She didn't react to the four wheeler that passed us on the trail or any of the other people and dogs that were out for a walk. The difference is like night and day! We practice “place”, “sit” and “down” every day and she is doing wonderful! Maya will be going back to stay with Shane for 3 more weeks of obedience training in August and we are confident that she is going to get the best care and training while she is there! We highly recommend Wags and Wisdom Dog training!

Shane did an absolutely amazing job with our Belgian Tervuren (Malinois), Princess. We opted for the 3 week program Wild to Well-Behaved Board & Train. We rescued Princess just a month or so before we contacted Shane. She was a very sweet dog, but with extremely high energy. She was easily distracted and difficult for me to walk. After 21 days with Shane, we took a 2 mile walk this AM without a single behavioral issue. No pulling or chasing everything she saw. Well worth it. Shane is very professional, knows how to work with dogs and owners alike. Highly recommend.
