I can’t say enough good things about this great new spot in Williamsburg! The ambiance, creative cocktails and outstanding food were only outmatched by the restaurants hospitality and knack for making you feel incredibly welcomed! From our drinks at the bar with Liz, who made incredible cocktails while offering witty banter, to our server Ari who was attentive, warm and brought all around good vibes each time they stopped by the table. Owners Amanda and Chef Stefany were equally as lovely and made sure that despite our table not being ready that our experience would be elevated far beyond what we had anticipated. We knew the food was going to be good based on previous reviews but were blown away by everything we tried. We started with the bread basket with all three butters, octopus and shrimp cocktail which came with a to-die-for mustard dipping sauce (Liz gave us the pro-tip of saving the sauce and ordering more to dip our fries in). The steak frites, chicken Milanese and agnolotti were exquisite! We loved all of our cocktails but the star of the night for me was the Negroni D’or which tasted like no Negroni that came before it. When chatting with Amanda at the end of the night she mentioned using a sourced Vermouth that gives it this wonderfully unique earthy profile. We can’t wait to return and try the rest of the menu. Thank you for such an incredible evening!
Wow! Wow wow wow! What an unexpected five star experience we had on New Year’s Eve when we decided to ditch our plans for lazy solitude and venture out for an early neighborhood dinner.
Let me start by saying at one point during our meal I leaned across the table to my beau and wondered in a conspiratorial tone, “Do they think we are *somebody*“?
That’s how warm, friendly, attentive and present our service was. From our welcome, to our pre dinner cocktail at the bar, to a table visit by the chef, we felt totally wrapped in personalized care.
The space is cozy (fireplace nestled near the bar, candlelit throughout), with a number of nooks and levels, that felt cleverly arranged and even a bit private. I look forward to visiting in the daytime to see the inviting decor in the light. I spotted a skylight and an outdoor patio on various levels so I suspect it’s a stunner in the daytime too. (FWIW I gasped when I entered the bathroom. Gorgeous!)
Cocktails were exceptional and varied, and the glassware equally luxurious if you’re wooed by that kind of thing (I am).
The food was outstanding. We stuck with the NYE prix fixe and were overwhelmed with options. We ended up with stunning crudo, shrimp cocktail, an endive salad that was a snowfield of parmesan, crab croquettes, an absolutely mouthwatering agnolotti dish and a short rib that I can’t speak to as a pescatarian, but witnessed a lot of satisfaction coming from the other side of the table. We would have been happy with a ‘decent meal out’ and ended up oohing and ahhing and mmming our way through the night.
We capped of the evening with desert cocktails and an amaro flight (there are at least five separate flights to chose from!) The staff worked so seamlessly together and was so informed that at some point we were discussing options with an apparent amaro expert…was she the sommelier? I had thought she was the host? If you have ever worked hospitality you know how valuable a proactive, knowledgeable team like this is. I really do wish them success! They deserve it.
Honestly, we made out like bandits and the value of what we got for what we paid was a total win. This little strip of Brooklyn under the Williamsburg Bridge is really giving the old mainstays (cough, cough, PL) a new benchmark to reach. With great drink spots like OTB and (new to us) Boro Brine, and the fabulous dining at Meadowsweet, Good Days is fantastic discovery, and secret I’d love to keep, but won’t. I wouldn’t be surprised if a new Michelin star makes an appearance on the block, after the exceptional evening we had.
The good fortune was ours to have stumbled upon this gem, and we’re so happy to have rung in the new year in such good hands.
Fantastic option for cocktails and curated bites! The service was absolutely phenomenal with great recommendations. Totally would recommend for a date or a girls night!
Great cocktails, loved the dirty martini which had a little bit of a kick to it. Their coconut daiquiri was perfectly dangerous in the sense that it was so good we could’ve downed 10.
We tried to hamachi crudo and the Sobrassada. Both left us saying “wow” after the first bite. Very well balanced to pair with our cocktails. The chef even brought out their take on the deviled egg for us to try - it was like a traditional deviled egg and a ramen egg had a perfect baby.
I had a lovely time with my partner at Good Days. The food was delightful and we enjoyed having the endive salad and the charred green beans. The agnolotti and steak au poivre were also delightful. We felt the service was also definitely a plus, and the warmth from the staff definitely complemented Stephany's dishes. We would definitely come back again!
Don’t even know where to start - this place is magic. The owners and staff are so personable I felt like we’ve known each other forever. The food was remarkable and the standout dish was the chicken liver mousse with the cherries. We also ordered the daily bread, bocadillo, steak frites, croquettes, and the flan for dessert. Everything was exceptional and we were left speechless. The price is also super affordable for the quality/quantity in my opinion.
The wine selection is also top tier which was a nice cherry on top.
Can’t wait to go back!
We stumbled upon this place and had one of the best meals I've had in months. We started with the baked mussels and bread (get all the butters, it's worth it). Our wonderful waiter walked us through the cocktail menu and they were right that all drinks are meticulously balanced. They had just added the 5 Carrots cocktail and it was an aboslute dream. We split the swordfish for an entree, and it was perfectly cooked with a hard sear crust. Do not sleep on the Amaro flights!! Overall I will be back here to see how this place evolves. Absolute gem if you're near Domino Park
It’s rare that all of - the atmosphere, the service, the food - are top notch at one restaurant. This is Good Days for you! Relatively affordable upscale experience, dishes with unique flavor profiles (courtesy of Stephanie), very creative, one-of-a-kind cocktails (thanks to Amanda’s crafted recipes).
Prawns are always a win, and the crab cakes were exquisite. But really everything we got from the menu, including the desert, was delightful! Happy clients after two visits :)
One of the best meals I’ve had in such a long time. Ari and Carlos took such good care of us, probably the best service I’ve ever received. All the appetizers and entrees we had were insane. Would definitely recommend the bocadillo, Cesar salad, brown date butter w/bread, and shrimp cocktail to start. For entree, you can’t wrong with the skirt steak! To close it off, the black sesame seed gelato was a nice surprise. You truly can’t go wrong here. The vibes are chill and welcoming. Would definitely come back again!
My new go-to restaurant in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, New York!!! You know it has to be good when you're already planning the next visit before you've finished eating!
The food is incredible; Lionsmane skewers and Sobrasada Bocadillo were recent highlights. Cocktails are so well balanced and the desserts are divine. But what really sets this place apart from everywhere else is the staff. The level of service is unmatched if i could give them 6 stars I would, friendly, attentive and warm.
I first visited on the Sunday of Thanksgiving weekend and the restaurant was very quiet which surprised me as the previous week I had attempted a walk-in and it was packed - but had the most incredible experience, so much so I was still thinking about the food and service the next morning - so i booked it again that Wednesday this time with higher expectations, I was not disappointed, they lived up to and exceeded them. Amanda and Stephany have created something very special! I'm looking forward to my next visit
Had a wonderful experience here with my family. We each ordered different plates. The oysters and the accompanying sauces were a delight! The bread and butter dish was so interesting! The different butters were great and I definitely recommend trying all three! Over the course of the night, I had tried three cocktails recommended to me by our server. The drink menu is very well put together and I feel like it offers a different option for everyone. I ordered three drinks that I would not normally go for and enjoyed them all. For entrees, I ordered the duck which had me wishing I could order another plate to go. My daughter had the burger option, which was very large and filling. My father in law ordered a very simple but tasty fresh pasta dish which he devoured completely! Hoping to return with friends and family for more events!
One of the best hidden gems in Brooklyn. Good Days at 91 S 6th St has phenomenal staff, outstanding food, and a cozy atmosphere that feels perfect for an intimate night out. The menu has incredible small plates and mains, and the space itself has this warm, inviting energy with big windows and a beautiful backyard patio. Everything feels thoughtful and welcoming. Cannot recommend it enough.
