I used Goodbye Asbestos earlier this week. Excellent communication in arranging dates for work to be completed and fitted me in exteemely quickly. Arrived on time and kept me updated with the work. They completed all the work within two days and removed the asbestos safely. I would fully recommend Josh and his team.
From the initial call with Josh through to the asbestos garage roof removal, the whole process was incredibly straightforward and efficient. I called on Monday and the team were out by Thursday — fantastic turnaround time.
The two guys who carried out the work were friendly, professional, and just got straight on with the job. They completed everything within two hours, despite pouring rain and having to deal with a roof covered in heavily overgrown ivy!
They left the area clean and tidy, and also took away a floor tile for testing at the same time, which was really helpful.

We have an old garage with a leaky roof that we've put off fixing for years because the roof looked like asbestos sheeting, I expected it to be a real pain to sort out. When the time finally came to fix it, I first looked for a company that would remove the asbestos so that we could then get someone in to replace the roof. I was delighted to find Goodbye Asbestos would do both - remove the asbestos and install a new roof on the same day. I made enquiries with several firms but Goodbye Asbestos were by far the friendliest and most efficient, replying to my enquiries quickly, coming out to see us within a few days, quoting for the job and booking us in to have the work done a few weeks later. The guys who came to do the work were friendly, polite and efficient, carefully removing the old asbestos sheets and installing a smart new metal roof which looks great and is - at last - waterproof again. Everyone we have dealt with has been great, and the whole process from start to finish has been completely painless. Thoroughly recommended.
We used Josh for our Asbestos removal, garage and wall demolition. He booked us in soon after our call, so turnaround was quick. Josh graciously took my panicked call and looked at some photos, late in the afternoon, after the ceiling in my rental collapsed due to a water leak and I was extremely anxious there was asbestos present and therefore presenting an immediate health hazard. He was very patient, explained his thoughts and provided much needed reassurance I didn’t need to

Goodbye Asbestos did a really great job. The roof was finished to a very high standard, but what really stood out was the attention to detail—not just on the roof itself, but all around it.
The areas around the guttering were done very neatly, and when the old brickwork was removed, it was replaced with timber panels fitted with minimal gaps. Everything looks clean and solid. The guttering was also finished to a high quality and looks like it’ll last a long time. (Note the foam around beams was done by myself.)
The materials seem reliable, and with the long warranty included, we feel confident the roof will hold up well. On top of that, the team were friendly, polite, and easy to deal with.
Overall, I’d definitely recommend them if you’re looking for solid, professional work done by decent people.
Geoff came round to my flat this morning to clear out some asbestos tiles that had been left in our basement by some previous dodgy tradespeople. He was reassuring, efficient, tidy and pleasant. Got the job done in a couple of hours, talked me through the process and explained about the cleaning process. Would definitely use this team again.
