I have found all the arrangements I have made with Global River Cruising via Simeon have been easy and straight-forward. The first time I booked a Douro cruise I had to cancel at the last minute; Simeon facilitated changing the booking to a friend seamlessly with minimal involvement from me at what was a very stressful time. It is something I've never forgotten. 3 yars later, still keen to sail on the river Douro, I contacted Global again. I felt I wanted to tell Simeon what a difference he had made and was delighted that it was something he had remembered! I felt the service offered was very personalised but unpressured. I was soundly advised about the chances of the river being in flood early in the season, and after discussions concerning budget, expectations, gratuities options, potential travel companions etc and with provisional reservations made, I was able to take a few days to consolidate my options. We are now looking forward to our Douro cruise in early June, feeling safe and secure that we have made a good choice.

I have now used Global twice and found the service excellent. Simeon was very informative on the various options and even managed to get us a further 5% discount that we thought we had lost. On his advice, trying to save a little money, we opted for the better carrier rather than the better room and booked with Uniworld. The cruise was excellent and we liked it so much we have booked another cruise with them for next year.

My AmaWaterways cruise was tremendous value for money. The cabin was attractive and comfortable, the service was friendly and super-attentive without being intrusive or obsequious, and the planning and execution of the arrangements were stellar. Everything was included--excursions with all the admission charges, tips,, transfer between ship and airport or railway station at both ends. The guides gave us excellent information without overloading us with it, and were able to answer all questions and provide any extra help needed. We went to four famous places (Bruges, Antwerp, Delft, Amsterdam) in a week and three small towns that I had never heard of that were utterly charming. There was a good choice of excursions for people interested in art, engineering, shopping, food, bicycling. One passenger who had a heart attack was treated with great efficiency and reassurance, and we were given bulletins on his condition--I am glad to say he was all right. Food is a big part of any cruise. The ingredients were all excellent and well cooked and often inventive (chili shrimp croquettes, coconut soup). The presentation was somewhat poncing--a row of half a dozen teeny-tiny tortured vegetables, for example. But if you wearied of the fussiness there was always a sandwich or steak or hamburger available. The wine was terrible, but what do you expect at an all-inclusive price. (There is one cocktail before dinner, but otherwise spirits are the only thing not included.) So, well done, Ama, and see you again.,

I had no idea about river cruising but Simeon helped make sure I was ready for my first trip from Amsterdam to Budapest. Treated like royalty for 2 weeks with plenty to see and do along the way all for a reasonable price! This won't be my last time with Global River Cruising

Danube Majestic Cities New Year Cruise 28/12/2024 My partner and I were looking for an almost last minute cruise for New Year 2024/25. Global Cruising promptly found the perfect offering with no trouble at all, and met the brief in full. We thoroughly enjoyed the cruise, which ticked all the boxes. Wonderful service from Simeon and the team. They truly understand the industry and what each cruise offers. Ww spotted the Global River Cruising name on a TV show, and fancied doing the India 'Golden Triangle' tour shown on that show, which we did - some 2 years later. It was wonderful. Much of the planning was carried out by Simeon and Alex, nad absolutely perfectly. So impressed were we that we booked a Vietnam/Cambodia trip which we are looking forward to - and a Nile/Egypt cruise. We trust these guys and their helpfullness, always taking calls and dealing with flights and hotel upgrades and so on. It all makes for wonderful and memorable holidays. Highly recommended!!

Simeon of Global River Cruising was most helpful through the whole process. Without him, it's unlikely we would have found such an excellently priced interesting up market cruise from Amsterdam. Simeon did a great job changing the flights for us to make our home journey plan much better than the standard offering. There was a small administrative delay over confirmation of payment but he got things moving and confirmed my feeling that he was committed to customer service.
