Excellent food, friendly staff, lovely decor.
I can only speak to the lunch special, but I’ve eaten here a few times now, and it’s been consistently great–affordable too! The menu is solid. In terms of appetizers, I’ve had the spring rolls and the soup (tiny, but that’s very NYC), and I always rotate between the massaman curry and the pad ka prow.
The general vibe is peaceful. The floral arrangements, blue velvet couches, and the view out onto Myrtle Avenue make it feel like a ritzy, tucked-away little secret.
Their only quirk is an oddly warm bathroom, but it’s clean and probably really nice in the winter.
11/10. Definitely check this place out!
