thanks Kate it was lovely to meet you and we are glad you enjoyed the workshop
I really enjoyed my 2hr pottery taster with Glen last Saturday morning. Glen's expert demonstration and patient assistance had me enjoying the wonderful feel of the clay as I made
7 bowls and chose 3 for Glen to glaze and fire. Highly recommend.

My friends and I had a great time at Glen’s wheel throwing class. The small group setting meant that Glen could provide us with individual guidance. Following Glen’s detailed instructions, I finally learnt how to centre my clay, something I was not able to achieve previously.

thanks so much it was lovely to meet you all
We attended Glen’s pottery wheel class on Saturday, and I can honestly say it was some of the most fun I’ve had in a long time!
The session was relaxed, engaging, and incredibly hands-on. Glen is a fantastic teacher — patient, encouraging, and always ready to help when things don't quite go according to plan (which happens a lot when you're learning pottery!).
What really stood out compared to other classes I've tried in Brisbane was the amount of time actually spent on the wheel. At some places you only get two or three attempts before the session moves on, but with Glen we were able to keep practising throughout the entire class. I must have had more attempts in those two hours than in several previous classes combined, and I learned so much because of it.
Whether you're a complete beginner or just looking to have a great time trying something different, I highly recommend this class. I've tried a few pottery experiences around Brisbane, and Glen's has definitely been my favourite.
Thanks again for such a fantastic afternoon! 😊

Hi Ale,
Wow, thank you so much for this incredible review! You've absolutely made my day. 😊
I'm so thrilled you had such a great time on the wheel, and it means the world to me that you noticed the difference in how much hands-on time you got. That's exactly what I aim for - I want everyone to actually get stuck into the clay and keep practising, because that's how you really learn (and have the most fun)!
You're spot on about things not always going to plan - that's all part of the pottery journey, and honestly some of the best laughs come from those wonky first attempts!
Thank you for taking the time to write such thoughtful words, and for recommending the class. It was an absolute pleasure having you in the studio, and I'd love to see you back on the wheel again sometime!
Thanks again,
Glen 🎨

Glen is so patient and kind. As a group we had zero skills with using the wheel. By the end we had made at least three usable pieces each.
Glen mixes humour in to help you build confidence but he is quick to help when the clay has misbehaved aka you aren't doing it correctly 😂😂
We were mixed ages and we all had the same comments after the class which was .. way better than we expected and all of us would go back or recommend the experience.
He even went the extra mile for our friends birthday with a balloon and napkins with her age for the snacks.
Thank you Glen, your kindness is admirable.
