This was a wonderful experience for my daughter, great granddaughter, and myself. They were knowledgeable, friendly, and supportive on the projects we selected. They also gave us their schedules so we can plan another time with them.

We had an amazing experience at Glassblowing Houston. When we arrived, it was just the two of us working with the instructor directly, which made it feel really personalized.
We started by choosing what we wanted to make and picking out our colors, and from there the instructor guided us through the entire process step by step. He explained everything clearly and made it easy to follow along, even though we had no prior experience.
What stood out most was how hands-on the experience was. He let us try each step ourselves, even when we weren’t great at it (especially when shaping the opening), but was always right there to guide us and fix anything that needed adjustment. Thanks to him, our pieces turned out way better than we expected.
Overall, it was fun, educational, and really well-run. We learned a lot and would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for a unique experience.

Wonderful Family Experience – Highly Recommend!
I took my kids to Glassblowing Houston for our very first glassblowing experience, and it turned out to be one of the best family outings we've had in a long time! The entire team is incredibly nice and welcoming—they made us feel comfortable right away, even though none of us had ever tried anything like this before.
The studio is top-of-the-line with a professional setup, and the glassblowers are truly amazing. Their skills are impressive, and they’re so knowledgeable and patient as they guide you through the process. Watching (and participating in) the creation of glowing hot glass into beautiful art was mesmerizing for both the adults and the kids.
We had a fantastic time making memories together, and I left feeling inspired. I’m already looking forward to going back to learn more glassblowing techniques and create even more of our own glass art!

You pay for the "experience" and yet our experience was absolutely terrible. From booking, it was a rough start. We had a phone and text confirmation, but they weren't expecting us. They blamed us for their poor communication. You aren't guaranteed your item at the end, even when they break it 3 times in a row. They say you pay for the "experience" of them lying to you and breaking your items. The stoner was pushy about making a basic piece (whisky tumbler), when it is advertised that they would make other things such as mugs, bowls. We wanted a mug. They wrote down mug. He made the tumbler instead.
After they broke all of our pieces and made the wrong thing, they told us we can't come back to get the pieces we requested. It's a bait and switch, with lousy customer service. If you want to waste your time and this poorly prepared "experience", by all means, waste your $200. In one breath they say "what! This has never happened before!" And in the next they say "glass breaks. It happens. You pay for the experience." When I asked is it normal in the experience for things to break, they took that as a threat (??). Go find anyone or anywhere else.
Maybe this was because they weren't at full operation? They were using their tour furnace, didn't have enough glass in it, and their regular furnaces were all down.
Regardless, this was a bad experience. I didn't even mention how we had to wait an hour after our appointment was supposed to be because they were still working with the previous geoup. This "experience" should have been an hour and we were there for 3 with nothing to show for it.
The fact that they waited until the end to then say "oh well, that's all we can do" was bad. No refund. No discount. No reschedule WHEN THEY BROKE THEM REPEATEDLY and made the wrong thing. Just bad bad bad.

Mara, we deeply regret your disappointing experience and understand your frustrations. This is not the standard we strive for. Per your own account we spent an additional hour with you trying to make your pieces. Sometimes, things just don't go your way. Then we ran out of glass in our baby dragon and could do no more. We offered to make the pieces for you and you replied with a threat to damage our products. We are so sorry that this was a bad experience for all. We have remade your pieces and you can pick them up. Please give us a call when you arrive so that we can deliver them to your vehicle. Your other option is to ship them at your expense.

Jacqui and Mason were amazing! They made the experience/class so educational and enjoyable. We learned so much, and got so much hands-on time, which is amazing for a beginner with zero background in glass making.
