I spoke to Sarah at Giveacar who was excellent, very friendly and efficient. She arranged for the collection of my car and donation to go to charity. (I chose Guide Dogs for the Blind). The whole process was easy and convenient and went very smoothly. Would highly recommend Giveacar.

Simple process, real impact
Donated my old motor to Oxfam through Giveacar - couldn’t have been easier, bab! Free collection sorted within days, no faff whatsoever.
What really matters: Oxfam has received nearly £200 through Giveacar , funding clean water projects and poverty relief in over 80 countries. Knowing that just £15 can provide safe water to one person makes this feel proper worthwhile.
Giveacar is a not-for-profit social enterprise that maximises every donation - no shareholders taking cuts. Turned my unwanted car into meaningful help for communities in need. Bostin’ service, highly recommend!
Overall an easy legit process to book pick up. Communication with scrap company good. Had to change pick up date which was done easily over phone. Only slight negative it's quite a slow process. 8 weeks between pick up and finally hearing donation amount.
One thing I hadn't realised is they use a scrap company I'd already contacted for a quote, so I could have used them, donated, and kept a bit for myself though I'm not sure I can trust myself.
Definitely good way to scrap car and give to charity as process is easy and the scrap company is trustworty, important for processing paperwork for DVLA.
Great company, polite, efficient and easy to deal with!
This is such a wonderful service to be able to help a charity with your clapped out old banger. Our daughter was taken from us after a visit from the deadly C, and to be able to donate towards Cancer Research was richly rewarding. Giveacar handled the whole transaction impeccably; whoever came up with the idea, a large pat on the back.
