UPDATE - There was a misunderstanding that led to 2 months of waiting for my claim to be handled. Today, I was told I will be getting a check in the mail to cover my item which was mistakenly loaded onto the truck. The item broke due to it being a curved monitor, and having another stacked on top. After completely explaining what happened to Kevin, and clearing up the misunderstanding, they covered my item which they were not allowed under policy to take liability for. I have used Motivated movers multiple times, and now that this situation is resolving, I can again recommend Motivated Movers to help move you. 4/5 moves done with them were 5 stars, no complaints, and now that this is being taken care of, I can change a 1-star review to a 4 star review. 5 star upon confirming I get the check.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Motivated Movers and the guys that helped me move. After having a bad experience at a different mover, Kevin helped get my move scheduled with Motivated Movers so I didnt have to push the date back. He was thorough with the walk through and gave me a price that remained the same with no surprises. On the day of my move, Khalil, Ryan, Kevin, Lamont and Marcellus showed up on time and ready to work. I could not believe how fast they got everything loaded up and ready to go. As they worked, they made sure all of my things were secure, safe and wrapped with TLC. Everything arrived safely with no damage. They unloaded just as quickly and made sure everything was where I wanted it. I was extremely impressed with their professionalism and positive demeanor throughout the move. They were friendly, accommodating and upbeat. If you want quality movers at a competitive price, I highly recommend Motivated Movers!!

Kevin and Ishmael did a good job, I certainly appreciate not having to worry about moving things ourselves. I would recommend their service, however, I'm sorry to read about the bad experiences others have written. Hoping they can learn from these and improve on what they have to offer even more.

These guys were awesome! Kevin and Ishmael moved this piano without straps when another company said they couldn’t even do it! The other company brought the piano to my house and then refused to bring it upstairs, so Ishmael and Kevin saved the day! They were super quick, communicative, and respectful. I will definitely use them for any of our future moves.

GUYS THESE MOVERS WERE THE BEST!! 4 guys, all with incredibly gregarious, witty personalities, moved a 3 bedroom, 2.5 bath, 1900 sq ft house into another, similar house in 3 and a half hours. They were so personable, kind, helpful, like I can’t recommend them enough. I really don’t want to move again for a while because overall it’s a sucky experience, but Motivated Movers seriously made it so much easier. Definitely worth the money, and their quote was spot on. Also way less expensive than the bigger companies, which was huge considering how much moving costs in general. Another perk was that, due to circumstances beyond our control, we thought we were going to have to switch the arrival time like the day before. They accommodated no problem, and accommodated switching back to the original time too. Thanks for all your help, Kevin and crew. Will recommend y’all to everyone I know!

Even with driveway complications, the attitude of the movers was fantastic. They did an amazing job and I have already recommended them to others who have had the same experience.

Guys were awesome, quick and professional. I was quoted 2 hours, Got it done in 1 and they only charged for that. A+++++

DO NOT USE!!! If I could give them a 0 star, I would. This company is horrible. We paid for the additional $10,000 coverage on damaged items and many items were damaged, but all we wanted resolved was our dryer, which is only $400. The movers blatantly admitted that they stood on top of the dryer when packing boxes into the truck, and they still won’t fix the dryer. Kevin is the worst and he’s full of lies. He was very responsive when signing us up, but once issues came up, he decided to ghost us. He will reply once a month and say “Your check will be in the mailbox this week” but nothing ever arrives. All I want is the dryer fixed/replaced because the top is crushed and the housing unit is broken. Additionally, my company moved me to a different state so I recommended this company to another coworker who was moved. Well the truck that moved my coworker had a giant hole in the roof and ALL of their stuff was wet and damaged. Kevin will also tell them lies saying “your check will be in the mailbox this week” and nothing ever shows up. This is his go to excuse. DO NOT use this company, use anyone else and DO NOT believe a word Kevin tells you. Just to add to this, there was blood on our rocker that goes into our nursery. They broke my custom built kitchen table bench. They damaged all the walls moving into the new house. They don’t protect your belongings when packing it in the truck. They don’t protect any railings or stairs in your house and I promise you, they will be damaged. What’s bad is I have been in the moving industry, and I have made plenty of mistakes but we have owned them. This company will not own them. They are the worst and so is Kevin.

Ryan, Daniel and Ishmael did an amazing job moving us back in after we had our floor refurbished. Would highly recommend them.

Ian, Ryan and Ismael did an absolutely stellar job handling our move. I was absolutely amazed at how quickly they were able to move everything while still being so careful. They were so professional and polite, and I couldn’t be more pleased. I will definitely recommend Motivated Movers to everyone I know.

I called these movers from Angis list. I needed to do a relatively small job moving some large pieces of furniture from one home to another. They were the best price and were available to me that same week. Ryan and Daniel were great. They were quick and friendly and I’d recommend these guys if you’re looking to move.

Ryan, Ishmael, and Kris did a great job moving our furniture and electronics to our new home. They were efficient and very great about confirming what we wanted placed where. Great guys!
