We appointed Gerard Construction April 23 to demolish our existing home and rebuild a new home for our family.
Before work could commence we had to move out of our Home.
We purchased a static Caravan which Gerry and his team helped site at the rear of our Garden and also helped us move in to this caravan installing new kitchen, bathroom and heating, they also made sure we had gas and Electricity so we could be self sufficient.
Work commenced at the end of May 23 and is due to complete at the end of March 24.
Throughout the project Gerry has always been available to take calls and answer any queries we had, he has sourced the bricks we wanted, the roof tiles we wanted and worked really hard to help us achieve the style we wanted.
We are very near completion so will update review at the end.

04/05 - we moved in to the house at the end of March, all is going well, we still have few bits to finish of ie internal doors and kitchens (stock availability)we have started the next phase of the project with Gerrard construction which is the external work and landscaping.
For now I will post some pictures so you can see how things are looking.
Having just had my mom’s home refurbishment completed I wanted to say a huge thank you to the team that worked on the project. Especially Dan, the project manager I communicated with throughout the 10 weeks period.
It was a complete makeover of the whole house and they worked diligently to ensure they met the agreed timeline. This was my biggest fear in the beginning choosing the right contractor who could oversee the whole project for me as I have heard horror stories where some would increase the price into the job, delayed work and so on… we have had other quotes prior to contracting Gerrard Construction Services but gut feeling I didn’t go with them. This was the best decision made.
Dan, Gerrard and the team were absolutely amazing to work with. Knowledgeable and readily available to solve arising problems of an old battered house. I always believe you should work with those that show pride and integrity in the work they do and they demonstrate this in spades.
They made a difficult project look easy and I was able to continue dedicating my time to work during the whole process. They took the hassle out of what could have been a very stressful time.
Dan was always responsive and kept me in the loop of the progress. I could get hold of him whenever I needed and felt that I was fully supported.
My mom is very happy with the new house and enjoying the open plan kitchen/living.
I would not hesitate to recommend them for any renovation/refurbishment work.
Gerrard and his team did some internal opening up works for us, starting February 2022. They've recently finished and we are really pleased with the space.
Throughout the build Gerrard has been very responsive to communications, it has been great to have a key contact for all the works. He has brought in good quality trades and worked around our young family where possible.
The structural works were carried out as per the designs, altering where necessary to cater for what we uncovered. The team turned up at a good hour working full days, and waste was removed efficiently. Overall a good quality build in a reasonable timescale - no long lead in times like other local builders.

I have to say I have been impressed with the whole project. Obviously this scale of work is extremely daunting to commence with, any apprehension I had soon turned to excitement as the project progressed, watching the house grow from the ground and improve week by week was something special to witness.
From obtaining quotations, Gerrard construction proposal was reasonably priced with additional ideas to enhance the property. I think its quite important to have a point of contact when commencing with any project, let alone one of this scale. Jerry was on hand evenings and weekends to answer any questions or queries I had or to simply put my mind at ease.
Payments were broke down in increments throughout the project at milestones. This seemed a very fair way of going about things and kept both parties happy until the end. Most these payments also fall in line with independent building control inspections, just for additional peace of mind, I quite liked that.
The build was completed on time with any unforeseen problems were dealt with fantastically, no project is without hiccups and problems, its how these issues are rectified that counts. From an ambitious time frame of 26 weeks was actually completed in 24 weeks.
I can only speak highly of the quality of work produced from the structure, to the fine interior detail. Week by week different trades would arrive and a whole new phase of the project would begin.
Me and my family have now moved back into our dream home and couldn't be happier with the results. I would highly recommend this company. So thank you to Jerry and your team for what you have created for us!
Gerrard Construction Services have completed a ground floor extension and knocked through to the existing kitchen diner to create a large open plan living space.
The work started in February 2021 and took around 3 months to complete.
We are really pleased with the final result and would recommend Gerrard's company.
He was very responsive with any queries, kept us informed of progress and was organised in keeping the build on track.
We hired Gerrard Construction to build our side extension. It was for an office and utility room with new steps out to the garden.
They were very helpful on the ideas and what we could have built. We used an architect who supplied the plans and the quote was precise and reasonable.
Gerrard was extremely helpful and informative with the plan going forward and his team started promptly and got stuck in straight away.
We were in constant communication and Gerrard got back to us almost immediately with any answers to questions we had.
We had a couple of issues with an existing wall we were not able to use and Gerrard handled everything with the council and helped us solve the issues.
It was quite amazing to watch the different stages happen and everyone that came were friendly and professional.
Gerrard was flexible with any changes we made and nothing was too much trouble. The standard of the build is really good and we are really pleased with the finished build.
We appointed Gerrard Construction in March 2020 to demolish the existing single story at the side of the house and build a two story side and rear extension to include a gym, utility room, open plan kitchen/lounge, refitted cloak room, two new double bedrooms with en-suites and new master bathroom. We also had a new boiler, central heating system and underfloor heating installed in the kitchen/lounge are and new windows and bi-fold doors throughout the property.
In addition, we also had the rear garden landscaped to include a new patio, steps down to a new lawn and the construction of several retaining walls and new fencing.
Gerrard's attention to detail in the production of his proposal, which listed every component of the works, surpassed any received from his competitors. In addition, his contract detailed the payment terms which were attached to milestones throughout the project, which gave me peace of mind of when I was due to pay and why.
Throughout the build, we found Gerrard's team very professional, but approachable, which is important when things don't quite go to plan or there are unforeseen circumstances.
Gerrard was always available, even when I wasn't expecting a response n the early evening and over the weekend to answer quires and put our mind at rest.
Even when we made changes to the build, Gerrard was on hand to make sure our expectations were achieved and exceeded. We would therefore happily recommend Gerrard and his team for any building projects you maybe considering.
we had a two storey extension added to our home to create two new bedrooms and an en-suite bathroom. Gerry and the team have delivered above our original expectations and we cannot be more pleased with the result. The professionalism and quality of finish of the brickwork, structure and plaster-boarding is excellent and nothing has been too much trouble. I would happily recommend Gerry and the team for any building works.
Had some bifolding doors and decking fitted at my home. The quote was very reasonable. Gerry and his team provided a very professional service with great workmanship. The finish is just as I expected. Gerry and his team are respectful, taking pride in the work they do. I would absolutely use them in any other home improvement project. We are delighted with the work that Gerry and his team have completed on our home; 1 bathroom, 2 en-suites, new kitchen, bricked up an arch, downstairs toilet, door knocked into the garage, new staircase, new front door, 45m2 of decking and the whole house painted. All in just 8 weeks. Builders were always on time and came everyday they said. Gerry understands every aspect of building work and came up with ways of saving us money. The lads worked really hard to bring the project to completion on time. Gerry has high standards as if it were his own home. I would highly recommend Gerrard Construction.

Gerrard Construction have recently completed our single storey extension to our property in Aldridge along with our new gravel driveway. (Hope you like the pictures)
The extension comprises bathroom with shower, lounge and separate bedroom. The build includes flat roof over the bedroom, pitch tiled roof complete with velux windows over the lounge and a tiled canopy above the front door.
The work has been completed in a timely manner to a good level of workmanship.
Gerrard and the team were efficient, very tidy and most polite.
