This school is run with so much integrity, love and care which, in my experience, has established a community full of fun, support, and safety. One of the best experiences I’ve ever had with any dance school… I cannot recommend them enough. And it goes without saying that the teachers are incredible dancers with lots of love and passion for their art!!

I recently started learning Urban Kizomba at GenKiz and have already met some incredibly kind and welcoming people—some of whom have quickly become friends. The dance school is open to everyone, regardless of age, dance experience, skin color, or sexual orientation. It offers a safe, supportive environment where people can learn and grow. The teachers combine humor with a strong focus on technique, helping students build a solid foundation. They provide honest, individualized feedback and encourage everyone to progress at their own pace. In addition to group classes, I’ve also taken private lessons with Sha and Joey, which have been incredibly valuable. Their personal attention and dedication have made a big difference in my learning. One of the best places I have been to learn Urban-Kiz and Tarraxo from scretch up to an high level with love for the details and the right technique. Have been in Cologne with Maxwell and Sonja, as well as severell month in Düsseldorf with Svenja and Hagen and Juli. Now looking forward to be in Den Hague to experience the origin of Generation Kiz. Glad of having the opportunity to joyned Gen-Kiz Germany courses from the beginning on.

This IS the place to be if you're looking for high quality teaching, clean technique, and a growth-stimulating environment. The classes are carefully prepared and well-structured in such a way that makes the concepts fall naturally into place. I've always enjoyed the open and friendly atmosphere during the classes and bootcamps. These guys are incredibly passionate about what they are doing, being so young and ambitious, they are extremely talented! Unfortunately I don't have the opportunity to learn at Gen Kiz as I'm living far from the Hague, but for sure would recommend (and already did) it to everyone, and would definitely join if I could. I've been to several classes, and I would say it's the next level of technique, preciseness, structure and orientation to details, and it's super fun at the same time! Love their style and approach!

I started dancing Urban Kiz at Generation Kiz in September. As a beginner, they focused a lot on the technique behind all the steps and on leading with intention. They make you feel safe, and it is okay to make mistakes. One of the best parts about dancing at Generation Kiz is the equality between leaders and followers and the opportunity to take classes as both. The quality of the classes and the level of their teachers are amazing, and their team keeps growing with amazing dancers. The community they are building in The Hague is really nice, and a lot of people get together at party's and socials. Their teachings made me the dancer I'm today and I'm definitley staying. In other words, I love it there! Big thanks to Joey and Sha ❤️

I have been going to classes from Generation Kiz for about 5 weeks while I was in Den Haag and it was the best decision I could’ve made. The whole team is just amazing, I felt welcomed from the first second. I got so many helpful tips, the classes were fun, I connected with many new people - it was a blast and I had the best time. The teachers, especially Joey, Sha and Juli are highly talented dancers and gave me very useful tips to improve my dancing. They make sure that the classes and socials are balanced and because of the amount of people attending, you can get very personal feedback. I would highly recommend Generation Kiz to anyone who wants to start or is already dancing Urban or Tarraxo, if you‘re nearby Den Haag (or Düsseldorf), check them out!
