We had Gas Safe in to replace radiators and do some pipe work to prepare for future works for a heat pump.
The work completed was excellent, the quality is very high. The individuals doing the work were very thoughtful and took steps to make sure that future works would be easy and less disrutpive. They provided everything needed and talked us through everything we needed to know.
The price was right, Gas Safe were not the cheapest, but a fair price for the quality of work completed.
The only reason I haven't given 5 stars is that some of the communication for organising quotes and called the office wasn't perfect. Everyone who came to quote was also very monosyllabic which made it harder than it needed to be to get the information and advice we needed. I would emphasise thought that the work was excellent.
The lads Richie and Tom arrived early in the morning and were keen to get going. They were installing a new boiler which was quite the task but they completed it in a quick and efficient way.
We were really pleased with how much they wanted to get on with the job and help out, made things really easy for us and were talkative informative as to what they were doing and how the new boiler worked once they were done.
They ended up finishing well ahead of schedule and we were really impressed at the job they’ve done. Would definitely recommend, cheers boys.
Really shoddy experience. Electrician came round to do a PAT test and after having to call me to explain how to ring a buzzer to let him in, we were then left with an all-mighty mess. The electrician had pulled out our heavy tv unit, arm chair, bed side tables, rearranged cupboards and unnecessarily messed up piles of folded linen, and then left without making a single attempt to put ANYTHING back. I don’t expect things to be perfect after this sort of a visit, but to not make any effort at all is really poor form. Surely moving furniture back and forth is a basic part of the job - if you can move it out, you can move it back. Screams arrogance and laziness, so if you value respect I’d avoid these guys like the plague.

Excellent experience! I enquired online and someone got back to me within minutes. They organised a same day call out and my boiler was back up and running within hours. The engineer who came to my house was friendly, professional and efficient. I will definitely be using this company again. Thank you!!

After a gas leak was detected and a new gas piping system needed, Rob at gas safe quickly provided me with a very reasonable quote and offered to get the job done within the same week.
Whilst I am very happy with the cost and the efficiency of the company I am devastated having this pipe going across the middle of the (newly renovated) house, horizontally and vertically, secured by black clips against a white coloured house. It wouldn't have taken much effort to run the pipe alongside the bottom and the side of the house instead (the boiler is situated to the right of the house, by the chimney stack).
I contacted the company again who offered to swap the clips for white ones. I don't think this would make a difference to how awful this looks.
I am very disappointed that this is the standards at which the company operates.
