Ich habe im Gaia Retreat House ein Wochenendseminar mit einer Gruppe aus verschiedenen Städten geleitet - und wir hätten uns keinen besseren Ort wünschen können. Die Lage ist zentral in Deutschland und sowohl aus Frankfurt als auch aus Berlin in einer angenehmen Zeit erreichbar, was die Logistik sehr erleichtert hat. Das Haus selbst ist unglaublich gemütlich und liebevoll gestaltet. Überall spürt man die Wärme und Hingabe von Gastgeber Eran und seiner wunderbaren Helferin Nishan - zwei Menschen, die mit Herz und Präsenz für eine rundum achtsame Atmosphäre sorgen. Besonders hervorheben möchte ich das Essen: rein pflanzlich, israelisch inspiriert und einfach himmlisch! Wer ein achtsames Wochenende mit nährenden Gesprächen, köstlichem veganem Essen und inspirierenden Geschichten erleben möchte, ist hier genau richtig. Absolute Empfehlung!

Gaia is a lovely place in the middle of nature which is perfect for a getaway - no matter whether you want to meditate or practice yoga. Eran is a wonderful host who created a home for everyone and offers very good food. Personally, I took over five meditation retreats already and can highly recommend to learn from Itamar. He has long-time experience in meditation and a very positive attitude toward every living being on earth. Everybody feels wolcome at Gaia. Give it a try!

I absolutely enjoyed my time here during a meditation retreat. The house is beautifully located on a scenic mountainside. Perfect for a calm, restorative weekend. Our retreat began with a warm welcome and wonderful guidance from our teacher. You can truly feel the passion of Eran, the facilitator of the weekend. He was not only a great host but also an amazing chef. We enjoyed delicious vegan food, freshly cooked each day, which brought everyone together around the table.

Die Entspannung, die man aus dem Retreat bei Gaia mitnimmt hält an. Auch mit langjähriger Yoga-Erfahrung habe ich hier einiges Neues gelernt und Aha-Erlebnisse gehabt. Bea hat das Yoga exzellent angeleitet, das hallt auch zuhause noch nach. Da man das ganze Wochenende lang hervorragend von Eran bekocht und umsorgt wird, kann man sich einfach fallen lassen und erholen. Wir waren eine kleine internationale Gruppe und hatten schöne gemeinsame Momente und gute Gespräche. Wer ein besonderes Yoga-Retreat-Erlebnis sucht ist hier richtig und die grüne nordhessische Natur gibt's noch dazu. Danke an alle für das wunderschöne Erlebnis.

I would like to thank Gaia Spirit for welcoming me as a guest during the Fall into Balance weekend 2025. The soul food, cooked with so much love, could be tasted in every bite and made me feel healthy and nourished right away. The varied yoga sessions blended Pilates and other disciplines, as well as the daily refreshing sauna breaks, provided a perfect way to unwind. There were also well-balanced moments to simply hang out, enjoy nature and have time to reflect—whether sitting quietly with yourself or sharing moments with others. The open and kind exchange with other participants—along with Eran and his lovely household/cooking assistant (whose name I don’t want to spell wrong)—and their always welcoming hugs, made the experience even more special. The whole atmosphere was very kind, very open, and very peaceful, and I am truly thankful for that experience. All of this together helped me gradually reconnect with my physical and mental balance throughout the weekend. I will definitely be back – either for another yoga and meditation retreat or just to take over the buffet. Much love and a full recommendation!

Gaia ist ein wundervoller Ort und Eran der beste Gastgeber, den man sich vorstellen kann. Wir hatten wunderbare Yoga-Kurse mit Bea, die es außerordentlich gut gemeistert hat die Kurse so zu gestalten, dass sie für Anfänger, sowie Fortgeschrittene sehr schön und anspruchsvoll waren. Ich komme auf jeden Fall wieder und bin sehr dankbar für die tolle Erfahrung! Und für das super gute Essen natürlich!

In America, the gesture to symbolize insanity is taking the finger to the head and spinning it in circles… the inability to stop the obsessive storytelling in your own head. The inability to get off the rollercoaster of emotions and thoughts. Spiraling deeper and deeper away from the present. The retreat allowed my mind to rest and become the observer of my thoughts and my surroundings. To watch them come and go without jumping on the rollercoaster. The yoga teacher, Bea, not only helped me improve my practice but it was a lesson in listening. For the first time, I really heard the instruction and got lost in the positions and breathing. There is no short cut... The work must be done! 😊 The food prepared by Eran was nutritious, colorful and delicious. The kitchen is his workshop where he crafts culinary masterpieces to serve to his guests (with love). This is not just a retreat house; it is a home. The authenticity of the atmosphere allows the guests, who are open to receive it, a chance to remove their mask and fall apart, if need be. A colorful mosaic requires the shattered remains of numerous old vessels. How can we take in new information if we don’t constantly let go of the old? w/Love, Kate <3
